As a friend suggested, Hamza was a 13 year old boy rounded up in the current protests going on against the Syrian government. He was missing for quite awile. When his parents found out he was in captivity they asked for his release. He was already dead and they allegedly had to sign a non disclosure before the government released his body. The government claimed the injuries were through street violence but they show cigerette burns and his penis removed. No one knows for sure but supposedly there are many like him. Certainly many will say this is fabricated and many might say this is no more then what man has been doing since day one of mans existence. Yet, this alleged torture and brutality of a young boy goes way beyond comprehension for so called civilized people anywhere. That is if we can even agree on what is civilized any longer? In my opinion this is man at his most animalistic level. Now this has nothing to do with infidels or religion, although the hate is the factor behind it. No it is all about ignorance, manipulation, brainwashing, grooming, education, selfishness, greed, power, control and among more definitions not written a lack or mercy, compassion and love. It is to me more of the legacy of man.
Now just one boy among thousands who have suffered at the hands of man. Men who form all nations regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, political ideology, wealth, etc, who are responsible for this and which happens daily to people of all ages. The fact that people, common folk, everyday workers can communicate to each other today regardless of where they are or who, in this new age of information, it can no longer be suppressed. The evil shown to all real time. That which was in secret now becomes known for all to see and hear. And while the powers of the world turn a blind eye and selctively sanction and impose war upon the nations they determine they should, others do this type of horror to their very own.
Should we not contemplate that this is not beyond any nations capability? Was this boy different from any other 13 year old? Being young, he followed after his loved one beliefs. He held to their religion and political preferences and opinion because he was to young to know. He wasn't old enough to formulate his own opinion so he followed after who he trusted. Just look at the billions goose stepping in nations building for war and look at their children marching with guns and toting hate and spewing hateful slogans. Arming for destruction theya re the world to come. Speaking peace and even speaking of God, really, while building the systems to kill. Are these the types you live among? Are you in fear for speaking truth or speaking out? If your heart is in turmoil you know I speak truth.
Hey call me a fool for looking at things through the eye of truth, reality, reason but to think, actually think that this world is one or can be because we are physcially for the most part the same, is well, to me, unthinkable. It is why America has fallen so far. Even while these nations kill and torture each other they hate Americans even more. It is why this boy has died. It is why they starve in North Korea and it is why these leaders and nations say one thing while hating and planning for another. It is why we have people who have and the greater part have not. It is why Arab nations are in upheaval and people are dieing.
So, read the Word and see for yourself what is happening. God spoke about the types we would know by their deeds, works, fruits in the latter years. Look at the deeds of this age and see no love. No, see for yourself the fruits of their hands. Not basing it on words or their lips but what they produce, actually do. Sure they have always been with us but now we see it on the rise, growing with intensity, frequency, ferocity, brutality.
Rhetorically, one must think if this little boy is not a prelude to what is coming upon this world then what is? It is to me a warning that God shares with us all and I try to share as He allows me to see it. No one knows the day or hour we will be called. However, God says we should know, look, seek the signs and be prepared, ready. While here I share the knowledge God allowed me to gain for the safety of all. For their loved ones and familiy, those they care about. It is however, like insurance , we need it but don't care to pay for it, or beliefs, that vary so dramatically among peoples of this world they will never unite even out of respect. It simply is that one has a choice and that choice will dictate what happens to you and yours.
So, as I leave you I ask, are you prepared or are you like those who live in the area's where the floods have occured, ravaged and homeless who did nothing. Who headed no warnings? Have you been without anything and are and lost a loved one because you were not prepared for a Tornado or Hurricane or worse? Are you prepared for the coming storms that God says are coming upon this earth? Are you prepared for God? Hey believe in a God or not but look at the reality of science and the earth.
Sure fear the motivator of all unseen and unknown but we are not dumb and blind that we should be without knowledge or caught unawares. Do you not think that this little child is a possible wake up call? Once again, your choice!

Top-level comments on this article: (1 total)Right on Robert. Very perceptive. This kind of insight is important to stop idiocy before it gets a foothold. Too many are silent, when they know better. That is a problem. The feeling is that as long as I'm okay, fend for yourself. That's the attitude when people don't speak up. And when they don't speak up, the idiots rhetoric becomes ten times more powerful because silence is always construed as agreement.
Only one suggestion, I apologize that I don't have the story about this 13 year old. A little back ground in the beginning of the article would have been helpful. Us hermits out here aren't up on all the news!

His parents were so overwhelmed they decided to relase the pictures so that the world would understand what was happening.
