Church Leaders, Evil and Hardened Hearts.

It seems the Pope made a rather good point in discussing that we should be careful not to harden our hearts at the tremendous amount of evil being spewed forth each and every day in the media. You name it we can see it from billions dying of hunger, war, poverty, sickness and exploitation and greed why wouldn't anyone be hardened? The fact is as Christians these trails are signs. In fact in the last days "evil will wax cold." and will be at its highest point.

So for the believer this is just one more sign, a great apostasy in churches, doctrine, in people's lives. They look, say and act like all the right things but as the Lord says, their hearts are far from Him.

It does however, make me wonder where all religious leaders are in speaking out to the great evils of this day and age. Sure we are to pray for those who do such, that God will have mercy on them, yet, we already know their delusion. So where are the leaders of the churches, those well known names and people of stature speaking to the evils of greed, exploitation, war? The sad facts are you do not hear much from the pulpit. In fact they share their table with the very same who propagate these sins and evil and even while the Word says we are to have no part with them.

Of course many do not know just what I talk to. They follow man's doctrines, leadership and cannot seem to grasp that almost the entire Word of God is pointing our man's sin and inability to save themselves. Page after page, Gospel after Gospel God speaks to us through his prophets and Apostles and few seem to understand.

So I need not write again to what God has. I only ask where are these people of God, these men of honor and integrity and officers of the court, the judges, the leaders, the owners the people? No a great delusion and yes read the seven letters to the churches and the signs of the end and it will make all the sense in the world. These I speak to know not because they suffer not. They have and they cannot grasp. yes, in my opinion like the scribes and the Pharisee's of old, they just don't get it. do you?

Your questions are my questions too. Thanks for caring enough to pose these questions. Seems like you're doing your part, however small it may seem. ~mogama~

Thank you. As you know I stopped writing on Searchwarp and was writing on Webgazine. Now that Webgazine is no more, I continue to write on my own blog, as noted at the end of the articles, and occassionally here. It seems the lack of interest is just another confirmation of what i write as being something to consider. Best wishes my friend, Robert.

Marijo, thank you for reading. The job at hand is to share ones views with as many as possible so they can consider, dispute, provide feedback either for or against so to that degree so we all can learn. To that degree I continue to point out what is in my opinion, by fact and reality of experience all about even when the majority seem non interested or do not see. There is a reason for that. Best wishes, and Happy Holidays.

Humans are perfectly capable of solving their own problems. We're like the proverbial cat in the tree: We climbed up, we can climb down.

Religion as a crutch has a way of making people lose sight of their own creative potential, and ironically, lose sight of the God they profess to believe in. The most backward, impoverished and war ridden nations seem to be the ones where religion has thoroughly enslaved its people. I'd sure like to see the evidence to the contrary, but no one is able to show me otherwise.

Well Gregory interesting you place your trust in humans. I was just writing to this very topic when I noted your response. Now while I sincerely respect your opinion the humanist agenda and goal sets forth establishing one big happy planet with man having the capabilities of solving it all and get this changing everyone to live in harmony, sharing the wealth of this planet. Well sadly history is the teacher and the future will be as well as if the current state of affairs doesn't do that already. It is in mans pride that they fall and fail time after time because they have no need in faith in God. In fact Gregory, as I recently read coming from many of these same leaders and holders to this Humanist concept, including our President, the most educated, the most literate one could find, in fact many who formed this theory and ideology admit freely man has two natures, good and evil and that it seems, really, that evil is more abundant. So for all of "mans" education, ability, capability they leave out the simplicity of the key necessity. What is that? Well it is the basis and core of knowing who a person is and what fruit their works will produce. What is that, OK LOVE, no not sexual as I am sure you understand, no, love of neighbor as thyself. Yes and that is why there will be in my opinion ever be never a true peace or unity of man. Yet know this soon a world system will come and many will hail it. Many will say there is, hail it, say see, I told you so and follow it, that is until it all falls apart. Yes, falls apart. Why, well over another bad word, MAMMON.Gregory understand I do appreciate our difference of opinion and respect that. I guess for me it is just one more confirmation of what I write to. Best wishes.
