Showing Signs of Recovery, Really?

Good article, however, I may be partial. To me the President is like a man that marries into household where a Mother had 3 boys, and they all had behavior problems.  But the man loved the Mother of the boys.  One boy did not like him because his dad gave him more THINGS. The other one did not like him because his allowance was cut off because of his behavior towards his mother. The other kid was spoiled and his daddy and he through all the money away helping friends. The new husband knew what he was getting into, but he loved the mother. He began trying to bring her back to respectability.  He always visualized and work towards a future. As I think about our President ( Visionary leader ) of these United States of America, and as I look at myself and some of my colleagues, I am reminded of the Biblical context of the "Talents." Some of my friends refused to move because of fear. They are still at a stand still and fear has made them immovable. Another friend had an ideal and faith to put in what he knew would be rewarding. He is overflowing. I, on the other hand had a little and it rang in my ears, it will take money to make money. I am or have been rewarded. I think our President is a visionary.

I look at the word, Imagination. Imagination, takes you from where you are to where you want to be. I have also noticed the loudess one's for no change were the quiet one's under the last administration. You can see where it left us. (Ray Charles can see that)  It is difficult to clean up another's mess. As the Bible says, "Pray for our leaders."

Pray I do and have yet oil and water do not mix. You shall know them by their works, what they do and fail to do. The Great White Throne Judge when some will say "Lord but". In that Christians are challenged not to support them but come out from among them. If we support that which is against the Word and what we profess then e too are partakers in that they do. If we ignore, tolerate or accept that too makes us accomplices. To this many would rather ignore. Yet this is scripture as well. Now love is not loving sin. love is correcting, just as our Lord does and admonishes us to do.  It is not about our human attributes, likes,  vision, speech, exterior or presentation or even words, but about doing what we profess. In that I find much fault. And while his ideals and vision may be good, what is the product of his endeavors and who do they help, but most of all destroy? Best wishes, excellent responses.

 

PS: I noticed my earlier reply was deleted or never made it. Sadly that happens sometimes  when I respond. I wonder if the directness of reality is hard to ponder or editors deem it too harsh?

Thanks Robert. We will agree to disagree. ...Smile... I remember in boot camp at Fort Gorden what some thought Kennedy was crazy. Why? We will get to outer space. They also called the Wright Bros. fools. Why? They were told only fools could fly. Roosevelt said, let man that employ, we will save 10% for him...Pension....Medicaid for aged, retirement...etc. That is why at your age and my age (I,m 65 now), time is passing. Some say: "It is leaving the old behind if they cannot contribute to tomorrow." I agree to disagree.

Dr. I'm 65 and their vision leaves nothing for me. I am losing my home, I just now got help from the government after 5 years of fighting for it for my sick mom who is on Hospice. Where was that help 5 years ago in this dark and desolate state? My MIL too wealthy at $630.00 a month. She lives with us and the government goes and lumps their meager earnings into ours as a family of 4. Latest poverty mind you from the horses mouth $88k for a family of 4. My pension, the IRS says its there but can't find it. Now I'm going to give you a hint. I'm not a college educated man but I've been there. I was the guy they called in to fix the visionaries problems, messes and bail them out. The ones who said due this and all they could do was throw money after money at the problem and settle in the end. Yes and ask why? They never liked me because I was a common man, non educated b y their evaluation and opinion, no degree. They paid me as such while they cried help, please help and after I was finished they cast me out, why, they couldn't stand that I succeeded. Why, God. That they never realized. Oh yes they talked it but they never humbled themselves before Him. You see they had all the answers, really.  After God comes family and nation and then people and if you do not hold them in high esteem you get nada, nothing, zero for your efforts. I remember the president of a company calling me in front of the masses asking me how I saved the company and please tell us how you did this? I said first I humbled myself before God, left it to him and he provided 47 people of amazing skill who did it. So visionary I quite agree with you miss the point good sir, it is how and what you do that brings about success. I see no success here for Americans of every race, color or creed except the select, the have, the chosen, by fact of their works. They will come out of this while the 20 to 30% who are not select will die if not dead already. This is the sad truth in an age where truth is not readily accepted. Yes I judge man as God  does not by the mouth but by deeds, the fruits of their labor. I look not on race, color, creed or national origin I look at their record. A man [woman] who has character and their word is their bond, integrity, honor, you can trust to get the job done. Sadly and I do say this honestly, this man is a visionary and yes he wants to change the world but in my opinion he has hooked his star to the wrong ship. He needs to take care of the people and then his vision will come. In that he is in serious error. My apologies for speaking so strongly on a topic which I feel so strongly about. It is nor will it ever be directed at you or anyone personally. I only ask you sir as an educated man to do the math. Recovery, yes one again, but for who?
