Struggling While Making $280,000 a Year.

Just a personal opinion on an extract from a quote from our president. Now I don't know about you but I am sitting here rather simmering. What hood, ghetto, poverty stricken, average American neighborhood did this man ever live in? My Christianity sort of on hold and my righteous indignation ready to pop. Just what is this man and his like thinking? Yes thinking is right. You can walk through almost every black community in this country and not find but few making anything like that except criminals. Yes and you could do that with every other average American racial group and city, town, suburb, local and find the same, the great majority no where near that.
Now to rub salt into open wounds this man and his cronies, yes in my opinion cronies. Hey, they make and write the laws, they implement them and they enforce them do they not? They're working on one right now that will effect us all. Yes and they make the treaties and they implement them. Does one need to go on? Capo Di Tutti Capo, used to be applied to another well known group to define some of their lead members. Rhetorically one could ask if it is appropriate for us to apply this title to this bunch of politicians as well? How about Good Fellas that might be another applicable term? Now we do know they have people who "push" things through, don't we? You know, twist an arm, figuratively of course, not the old way. Someone has to muscle these things through.
So $42,000 the government poverty level for a single person and $88,000 for a family of four and me, you, and any average American of any color, religion, whatever, can't get squat from our, yes, our own government. You make too much, you own too much, you are too wealthy on $45,000 a year GROSS and less, yes, less.
However, some are here illegally or on a green card and they kiss their you know what with food stamps, housing, and education, medical, all on the arm. Yes whose arm, you got it those Middle Class Americans because evidently there sure is a hell of a lot of them? Me I'm poverty first class so I know its not me. Yes and you, yes you, why because it isn't me, I didn't vote for any of this bunch, who love this guy. Yes he evidently can do no wrong. So one has to suspect you are one of those $95,000 and up or making more who suffering and struggling at making ends meet at $280,000 a year. I pain for you, sincerely, how difficult can life get? I would write this on Kerplop but I don't think they can, even while progressive thinkers and really decent idealists can handle direct facts, honesty, reality when it comes to this president? Look I'm no Republican lover either, in my opinion more of the same. They just label me as a conservative and place me on Webgazine. No I'm just an average guy speaking my mind. I guess a rarity in this day and age? IN fact how many don't write any lobger, I suspect they couldn't handle reality?
So let me close with this. If those statements don't tell you who this man represents, who they represent, who "help is on the way" for, then cutting Medicare and Medicaid will when they cut your help.
Yes, sadly, what can one say? Really, hello, rhetorically they must be right that we are what they think we are, that is a certain word ending in hole. Sorry, I'm struggling to survive like many average people and we sit here with our heads up our, yes; you know what while we suck it all down; nothing more then amazing. Enough said!
Yes and will you get to read it, probably not and that in of itself says it all about who these people are.

Top-level comments on this article: (1 total)Hi Robert. My husband and I manage somehow to get by on much less than the poverty level figure for one person that you stated. But we have no health care and that worries us from time to time. I've often said that the "haves" have no idea what this nation chock full of "have nots" is really about. Thanks for your thoughts,DiannePlease log in to respond to this comment.Dianne thanks for reading and commenting. About 6 months ago I stopped writing on Searchwarp to switch to my own site because of the apathy demonstrated. Look one may not like my writing style but like this article fact that should get their blood boiling regardless of party. Then I note those that have the means crying and complaining while their neighbors, that they love so dearly as good Christians, have their power shut off, or are thrown on the street so the bank can short sell their home to the highest bidder, yes the highest bidder, another fact. The vast majority of readers and those who write and visit this site, well as I have come to realize "as in the days of Noah." It is so stark a reality and comparison it amazes me and now I really don't expect many of but a few to react. As the days go by I find myself amazed and then again not. So I write to convict, motivate, stir, place in fron of people the thruth and it matetrs to me not my personal gain it just astonishes me how totally pitiful we have become as a nation. No, don't believe that God stuff, ask first what God, then examine their works? All the very best, thanks. Please log in to respond to this comment.
