NIV, John Chapter 14 verses 15- 25 Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit. Now here are the key excerpts from that chapter and those verses. Read it for yourself.

1- Jesus is emphatic if you love Him you must follow His commands.
2- The Father wills end you forever the counselor of truth, the Holy Spirit.
3- The world rejects Him because they cannot see Him nor do they know Him but he lives with believers.
4- He then tells His followers, believers they will not see Him anymore but He will be with them.
5- Now because He lives believers will also live.
6- On that day you [believers] will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me and I am in you. Wow what a message for all faiths.

It goes forth to the world as plain as day yet it is rejected by the majority who place their faith in the doctrines and beliefs of man. Yes and some even acknowledge Holy Scripture as being from God and some profess believing in God and some even Jesus. Now if you go down a little further to verse 22 you will hear Judas ask Jesus why He shows Himself to the apostles but He does not show Himself to the world? Jesus then speaks in verses 23-27 why. One who seeks should read that scripture. It is a foundation of belief in faith.

Now this message for believers. I have continually mentioned that not all are believers and that not all are chosen. This rubs many wrong but I didn't say that God said it. Yes and they even contend with God and the His Word, which is God. They cannot reconcile His Word to their human beliefs. Hence they challenge that which God has provided. I did not say they were unkind, not good and decent, not caring or even loving, I just stated they cannot reconcile their beliefs to God.

They cast dispersion upon the Word, they change the meanings, create new doctrines more in keeping with their individual beliefs, reject or change what they xcare to discard and use what thye may and they put much of it under one header love. Yes God does love all who He has been given and He calls to all to come to Him and follow Him that none shall be lost but all saved. Yet the qualifier for us all, those who do His work, His teachings, His beliefs. However, that is not to be because the gate is narrow and not all believe in faith. They need tangibles [Thomas] they can't accept hell or that Hell even exists. They can't believ some are meant for the wrath or Hell. Well that is a choice thing, individual, not God's choice. That is mad by what we do or fail to do wher our heart is. Jesus died for us and many believe we all get a pass, really. Once Born Again we are all home free, really. I think they need to examine that closer.

Oh, they will argue this and that until their last breath. Why a hell, why punishment, why this, why that, why ask why, God addressed it already you just have to accept it or reject it. That is the essence of salvation, no proof just believe in Him and do His works. All of the bickering non important if you truly believe. No doing the works does not get you in grace does but works show God you believe, seek, and want Him more then this world.

Why, wrapped up in that believe is the signs that follow after you. Care, compassion, mercy, humbleness, meekness, love. If anything else then you have a problem. If you are proud, defiant, unmerciful, coveting, greedy, boisterous, have no natural affection or care, love, then you are not of God. If you reject His Word and teachings you are not of God. It is simply speaking just that, no more, no less.

So write one can but it has all been said already. Pick up the Word of God and pray to Him, ask Him to reveal Himself, open your eyes because not everyone's eyes or ears are open. Seek and you will find. Why, because the Holy Spirit is right here with you and us.

Its on searchwarp called "are you looking for the Rapture". A few who go to my site have asked me my belief on when the Rapture will take place. Well frankly that has been a debate for quite awhile and still is. Like you, I'd like to get out before. Now as you most likely know that belief in the Rapture came into being in the 19 th century.  It is not scripture in as such it is clearly defined but based on scripture" one will be taken, etc] I have looked into that and came across an interesting artilce on Noah, I'll leave you with this to pnder "who was taken and who was left?" Now apply that to the End of days and I think you'll be real interested. Also, for the good part of church history that belief was not evident [as far as I can tell]. Catholics always believed true believers would go through the tribulation the same as the original church did theirs. So what better place then scripture?  I find it interesting based on a few articles written on the web that ther eis debate even among protostant denomination = pre, during, post. I suscribe to the last day and I have given what Jesus stated. I have two on my site as well. best wishes, Robert.

Hi Robert, thanks, I will read and respond. I don't know that we have had this conversation before, but I do not hold on so tightly to one particular view because where the Scriptures I vague, I must remain vague. Too many believers have broken fellowship over this issue and it is a sad thing. Clues we have, signs we have, but exact moments, no. I personally lean toward a pre-wrath view and I believe that according to second thessalonians we will see the antichrist sitting on the throne. We know that the first three and 1/2 years are "peace" so my thought is we go right before or just as the wrath of God starts which is right at the 6th seal. "and then the I saw the wrath of the Lamb".  The first plagues/wrath is of man, nothing tells us we will be spared the wrath of man.....  I guess I am getting ahead of myself here :-)  I will go read the article, think, then respond :-)   Blessings!   Teresa

Yes that is the way I feel too many split over a minor manner, yet what you stated, on the thrown, and what I wrote in the article wrote to what Christ states as I read it. let me know your take. No argument I just wanted tour perspective.
