The Age of Enlightenment

In this modern age of so called enlightenment, where man has been educated, reached the stars, created marvelous technical, industrial and scientific achievements that to our knowledge have not existed before, we continue with the age old destroyers of mankind, greed, exploitation, cruelty, death, destruction.

We see not the works of God although the great numbers and multitudes profess God. If they truly believe in God, the God of mercy, compassion, love then let me ask why would we not see His works in all we do on this earth? That is not to say we do not see them but we see them manifested only through believers. The small lights sprinkled throughout this planet still glowing until they are removed. Where will they go? Where will they have gone?

So while the great masses of mankind place their hopes in man, mortals and follow after them, even while ritualistically doing, adorning, speaking and professing God their deeds are far from the attributes and teachings of God as demonstrated each day, every day in their individual works. I need not talk to them you should know them. They who think they are righteous, saved, good and decent need only look at their works and true beliefs. Real beliefs, works and deeds not a donation, a few hours service, prayers, attending church, no Isaiah 58 works.

The truth is that we certainly have had and have religions and to that end we still have a multitude of religions. Fragmented and torn they contend with each other for the spoils of the world, people, money, power, wealth, fact. Yes and certainly many preach, profess words love and God, compassion, mercy. Yet what do we have to show for it? I need not list them they blanket the earth.

So, I believe we can presume this has always been the situation of man since day one and one that will continue for the majority. That is I want what you have and I want more of it and really to hell with how I get it. It can be summed up as, you are either on board or not, you are with me or against me, or frankly and more directly, I really don't give a damn as long as it works for me.

So the vast multitudes, regardless of profession, expressed belief or not and by their works and to varied degree's of acceptance and tolerance in my opinion follow this doctrine, creed, perspective, path, ideology. Call it what you want the same results. It is what it is by all the signs and symbols of this age.

So I realize, now more then ever I am not of this earth. People flee from we who hold the same beliefs because first we do not have and secondly they care not to hear. We make them uncomfortable, we convict. Like Christ writing oin the sand. Now you can laugh, I'll accept that, but I know in my heart of hearts I am not of this earth. My loved ones are not of this earth. They care, they show mercy, compassion, love, friendship for friend and even foe. As they say in Superman without the pride or arrogance of professing or being as bold to say I have those powers, "A strange being from another planet." In that I am convinced because I see things in a much different perspective. People have a truly hard time understanding, perceiving, comprehending. To me strange, that is until I became aware of why.

Yes even those who speak of love, being all the same, even while believing they are God loving they approve of sin and many do not accept God's Word. They selectively apply it to suit themselves. Yes sin relative to their perspective, opinion, belief, not God's Word. How do we know that? Their words and works that follow after them. Their accepting, approving, condoning, patronizing, ignoring, omitting, and whatever one cares to use to live in the world and be a part of this world and accepted and achieve in this world.

That they will defend to the death. And they will ostracize, cast out, ridicule, label and yes abuse, ignore, anyone who professes such. You see that way of thinking is strange, different to them, perhaps insane. Yes, as many governments and societies have done throughout history taken free thinkers, believers and excluded them from society or killed them. Were Christians a military menace to Rome? Certainly not, love was. It forced men to love their neighbor. A menace to their way of life.

Yet I know for sure anyone who seeks Jesus Christ as Lord will be treated the same. Yes and now comes the time. Yes the time when the trials will grow in frequency and intensity. It has been ordained by God Himself in His Word and to deny that places you opposite to God. Look God said, when you see the Fig Tree blossom know. Not I or any man, God. Also, God Himself says they will drag you before Kings and Judges. Isaiah 51:7 "hear me, you who know what is right, you people who have my law in your hearts; do not fear the reproach of men or be terrified by their insults."

So by their reporting and words, is not the belief in God waning? Is not persecution of Christian thinking waning? Is not Christian morality waning?Yes even while 82% think and profess a belief in God, what God? How can this be? The facts, signs evident for those who know to understand.

Yet fear not. John 6:39 And this is the will of Him who sent me, that I shall not lose none of all that He has given me, but raise them up on the last day. WOW.

Now Luke 21 - 12-19, read it . It is a message for those who read this and understand.

Should we stop speaking, be silent, hide, or is not this the time to be bold and proclaim? Should we fear those who are content with their religious beliefs while they ignore or selectively apply God's Word? Matthew 13:30 "let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn."

I cannot say other then as one reads through God's Word all one can gather is wisdom, the plan, the reference to what is to be because it has been ordained by God and it will come to pass.When we know not the day or the hour but as God Himself said, God Himself, we shall know when it is even at the door.

Now some can scoff, some can question, some can ridicule yet the question is for YOU and you only who profess, DO YOU BELIEVE? Do you?
