Hope and the Facades Perpetrated Are Immense.

One could spend considerable time writing to the falsehoods perpetrated upon the American people that it would take pages. To that degree I have already written. We are really down to integrity, truth, honesty, character and values all of which in my opinion mere words today.

Ok, need an example. This new "help" program for first time homeowners. Yes, part of our new presidents help for the "people." Get this, unless you HAVE you get not. Yes like the old plan a facade for the average person, the ordinary, the little guy. Yes learn to change that American dream. Land and home ownership for the ruling class only.

Why you ask? Here is a factual example. I know many don't take kindly to fact in this age or truth but hey it is what it is. The young man up the block reads my work and I was speaking to him about his parents home. He wants to buy that home from them. They owe $92,000. Retail market states the home is worth about $110,000 in today's depressed market. The lenders appraised value $70,000. It is as the lenders all say, upside down, really. To boot, since he does not make a lot of money he wanted to buy the home and have his parents sign as co signers. No can do because the law says they can't be on the deed that they are already. Hence no $8,000 for him, that little guy. Now they would be the guarantors. You would think this is a benefit for the banks. Not so in this age.

Now he asked a question, how many loans are you writing? The answer few, only those with the cash. Ok, some will say what about HUD loans. They don't care about credit, etc. Give me a break, once again where are their heads?

Ok options- he can buy outright. Oh, really. He will never be approved period because of his income without a co signer. If they try to refinance they lose the $8,000 first time buyer grant and they solve nothing but add him. They will happily take him as another guarantor of the loan but no breaks. Finally about 25 homes of young people and elderly all within a few blocks of this home area were foreclosed on and rotting away. Yes waiting for that person to steal it. Rhetorically, one might ask is it so they can rent to the little guy? That seems to be the new American Dream soulution. It sounds like Europe to me. Yes and that is if they are credit worthy?

Now I won't go any further because it is useless. Like those tax cuts that will turn into increases about 2011, as they say. If this new president doesn't understand this then he is either incompetent, has a lot to learn, or knows all about this and could care less regardless of what he says by mouth. You make your choice because the choices all smell.

Yes place your hope in him and them and see what unfolds right before you. Yes, don't care to hear the truth, fact, reality well go about your way happily. I have no problem with any of that. Yes as in the days of Noah, period, end of story.
