To You On the Bottom What Does This Mean?

The new tax package being submitted by our president will supposedly help people and it most likely will, yet who? As defined, that is chiefly working couples who file jointly and make between $75,000 and $150,000 a year and at least soon. It is called a "make work tax credit". Gee, now it seem I've heard this before, really.
Then again there are you who are in real estate. Hey your numbers just may go up as people dig into those foreclosures and non paid tax homes. Of course we won't dare mention social services costs along with the increased burden on tax payers [those left who have will pay]. That really isn't what people want to hear. Oh, I forgot, great news, they are cutting those so that may not be a worry after all? Yes and since hospitals aren't taking people who can't pay up front or even have government sponsored Medicaid. Sorry it is already happening.
We, that is the 82% of us who profess to be a Christian nation, well we get miffed if we hear the truth. Why I don't know? One would think truth would spur righteous indignation yet it doesn't.It actually spurs resentment. I agree that no one likes negative. Yes you are right. Yet reality is not negative it is truth. Yet reminds me of, " lady bug, lady bug, etc". I'm just waiting for reality to sink in and we confront it. Oh well one can only hope.
In my opinion this plan will work to a degree. How timely it gets to people is another question. We do have to go through Congress. Another test of reality. Most estimate even with Obama pushing hard,10 to 15 weeks at the minimum after it passes. The question how fast will it pass?
The gist of it all is that Obama intends to pay $500.00 per worker and $1000.00 for couples filing jointly. Meaning they will pay in less taxes each payday. The key word here is "workers". If your not working well then just what does that mean? At earliest this may not reach people until June and the "middle income and lower end" salaried workers until after they file their 2009 tax next year. Yes and these are the ones who need it most to survive. Oh well, you can always hope.
They, meaning our very own politicians and experts agree the lowest paid will be living from payday to payday. Those already gone, well bad break. You see as I stated, in my opinion it was never about those "average Americans or poor and needy". I know this sounds hard and tough and it hurts but in my mind better not to count your chickens before they are hatched. Rhetorically speaking one might ask if that ruffles the feathers of those that have even to say that? You see as I have stated they will get theirs because they have and they will spend and they fill the coffers of the banks, business and investors of the world. They care not where it is made or about that "all American Label" if it is bling they want and need.
So why this and now? Well let me remind you once again about great deals at stores going under, that new car that is ripe for purchase and please don't forget that home that can be purchased cheap from you who just may lose it because well, you have to wait.
In reality that money couldn't have helped you anyway. That is reality. Pay a past due bill, keep the lights on, perhaps 1/2 a months rent? No for average America the reality no one wants to know. Yes and for them most will not hear it here. It is reality.
Like I said, it is beyond belief but then again I recognize why. I know why and yet I always hope I am wrong. Too bad I am wright more often then not. Yes help is on the way, when, where, how, well later. Yes later for those who really need it and now.
PS AP reported just a little while ago:P
"The alternative includes across-the-board cuts in the two lowest income tax brackets , placing unemployment benefits off-limits to taxation and a new $7,500 break for home buyers who make a minimum down payment of 5 percent." yes and from those "Republicans" no less. I guess they got the message?
