Our Hope and Trust In A Man.

I offer this in reflection and for your consideration. You may do with it as you like. It is no more then a collection of thoughts which in my mind seem plausible and worth a moment of your time as opinion and as I understand it and see it happening. It is controversial in that it alludes to our new president and in that many will become, why who knows, offended by the truth of what is being said. It is for that matter only truth as you can determine anywhere yourself. I just put it into print.

As you who read my writing know I write to things that are truth and reality, fact, as can be determined by anyone who cares to look, as well as my opinions. I write to politics and I write to religious matters. I have been writing considerably lately toward religion. In fact my last article and a few other recent ones I have spoken quite clearly to Psalm 118.8. and Isaiah 58. No use repeating it, it matters not as demonstrated by the number of readers. Yet it is there for all who are intended to read it. To at least consider it. I know they will read it.

What is the question at hand? It is the act of placing our hope in one man. Now many might say placing hope in one man is not unusual, right? Example, we hope the quarterback will do the job, the doctor knows what he is doing. Not in this case though. We are talking world here. Do we even reflect on it? Yet, placing hope in one man, a single solitary man, has only been done by the masses, in the numbers we know as truth, only one time before. No other since then until now. That man Jesus of Nazareth.

So, like I just said and will again for purposes of this article, this simple, unimposing act does not seem of itself significant. Yet in my opinion it could be one of the most profound signs and symbols of this age speaking to faith and belief. It should make one pause, that is who believes . An entire nation has and yes the world , in mass, has placed all their hope and trust in one man. They do it enthusiastically, and cheerfully and are even willing to wait on him. Yes he is in no other ways "THEIR SAVIOR, their hope.

Hey don't get mad, analyze it. Don't get upset, think about it. He represents all that YOU hope to come about. He will do it. He will save us. We do not trust Congress, fact, or any other world leaders or governments, fact, yet we have given, entirely our trust and placed our faith and hope, in HIM. We believe in mass that HE will deliver us from this crisis. No mention of God, humbleness, prayer to save us, none, just a man. A man like Jesus, or then again not like Jesus.

So go to church, go to mass, go say your prayers, go sing and dance and praise, yes go. It is important that we pray and worship God. Yet, perhaps, just perhaps you may want to take a moment to reflect, to take stock as they say, that is if you care to? That is if you are meant to as to who you really want to trust in?

Should we hope in him? Well once again The Word of God. Psalm 11.8. All I can say is I continue to look up as well but sadly I place my trust in no man. What will be, will be but only by the grace of God and no other.
