Why Is Righteous Indignation Unacceptable?

It seems to me that we are all in a state of malaise. All about us the signs and symbols of a corrupt system run by people who although they swear an oath before the God they profess, and they play the part well, there is destruction and despair in the wake of their deeds. Indignation, yes, why not?
It brings me back to the bible and Jesus in the temple. Within those walls, and for illustration purposes only, our Congress, our state houses our local seats of government and power as being our temples that I am speaking about. In the case of the Jewish temple people who professed to be believers and who professed to be doing all the right things outwardly were in reality facades. True they dressed right, they spoke right, they worshiped ritually right, yet their hearts were far from the truth. Their real God entirely different then what came forth from their mouth. They made money and yes God was their source, the tool, the drug or opiate, along with trust and hope.
So when Jesus entered the temple what did he find? Greed, exploitation, lies, fabrications, half truth, and everything that is evil one can find. The conniving, scheming, and overwhelming atmosphere of self interest and me. So what did he do? He could not tolerate it any longer, it was so blatant a sin, so obvious, that is to Him. No not the masses, Him and those who truly followed Him. They saw, they understood. Jesus had to drive them out becuase it was truth to do so. he even did that with a twig, a branch, tumbling the furniture, spewing their wealth all over the floor. Rhetorically one may think is that something symbolic we must do with our "temples" called Congress, City Hall, The State House?
So when we look about all over this land we see the damage, destruction, hurt, devastation of broken lives, hopes, families, people and yet we also see a malaise. We even see indignation toward anyone who would dare write to the truth. Eeven while many and the majority profess?
One has to wonder why there is not righteous indignation toward our so called leaders? The cries of give them a chance echo day in and day out for those who by their own hand brought this down upon us and now cannot even find a way to resolve it. They talk of now but now is relative to them. Not now for the average, the poor, main street, only the wealthy, their types who get immediate help. Yes and like those in the temple their souls and conscience is clear. They do right and fo the people, really?
Now I have said my piece and I find it alarming and yet also a sign. As those who went to the temple each day as if in a stupor, a malaise and were manipulated, used, exploited, taken advantage of in retrospect that is who in my opinion we are today. Going through the motions while the scribes and the pharisees and the leaders and the wealthy abused us.
It took righteous indignation to take action. Yet what did they subsequently do to Him? That is right, they hailed Him and then they killed Him. Yes and a few decades later they received their answer from the Romans. What will our answer be for our malaise?
Yes you can be positive because when you have nothing just getting up each day is positive. You
can hope but in who? Do youpalcce your trust in man? Have we not seen the truth of abuse at man's hands? Abuse and use and take and exploit is truth? Yet lets not talk of hope and positive in man's terms because it is empty, hollow and just like the Easter Bunny inside there is no substance.
No, if you want change you must take charge, demand it, make it happen. Oh well, see you in the Temple.
