Having Died, We Are No More.

Having died we are no more refers to the ability to maintain an average American life style, support a family, own a home and in general provide for your loved ones even while not of the world and in this day and age. Just last evening on the news a government official stated due to all the anticipated retail closings and foreclosures and unemployment expected in 2009 Americans are going to have to change their spending habits. In effect learn to take less.
Now talking with a lawyer recently he said never has he seen it so bad and no one knows who owns what any longer. In fact people are being served papers for property they sold 5 years ago because some official bank records are all screwed because these banks are scrambled. By the way do you think they messed with your credit as well. I wouldn't take that bet that they haven't. So if someone shows up at your door you better have your title company get with it asap.
Yet lets review what our "Republic", in my opinion long since gone, had as the governing principal installed by our forefathers. It is as I stated in my opinion by fact, no more " for millions of Americans. It is just no longer reality or possible. To not allow this to happen was the responsibility placed upon our leaders, via oath, to insure peace and prosperity and for the general welfare and our future posterity. Yet many have died financially and they don't know it yet and many have died to the world. Nothing matters any longer that is of this world. It plays out all across this nation and while others label it doom and gloom it is reality for millions upon millions. It is very easy to label one or something gloom or doom when you are not impacted. Yet it does not change reality one bit. Yes it does not pertain to those who have.
An excerpt from Lincoln's second inaugural speech from the US History Encyclopedia, as given even while the Civil War raged on, says something profoundly.
"With malice toward none; with charity for all; with firmness in the right, as God gives us to see the right, let us strive on to finish the work we are in; to bind up the nation's wounds; to care for him who shall have borne the battle, and for his widow, and his orphan – to do all which may achieve and cherish a just and lasting peace, among ourselves and with all nations".
The part that sounds true are the words "just and lasting peace". In that we think of fair, equal, partnerships, respect, mutual gain. We do not speak to greed, exploitation, use, taking advantage of, rape and pillage, sin and crime. Yes and a just and lasting peace, as history has proven time and time again can only come when there is justice and fairness and in no other manner. "With malice toward none; with charity for all; with firmness in the right, as God gives us to see the right, let us strive on to finish the work we are in; to bind up the nation's wounds; to care for him who shall have borne the battle, and for his widow, and his orphan – to do all which may achieve and cherish a just and lasting peace, among ourselves and with all nations".
Now Lincoln as a man who quoted scripture and God often was recognized as one who saw God in command and God's will being done, not mans. In this case both sides in the Civil War saw through their own Pastors and religious beliefs to be in the right. To have God on their side. Many Germans in the first and second World wars thought the same. Yes and the winners declared God was on their side, but was He? So in my opinion it is exactly the same today, with ideologies and professions of God and their works seemingly right for man and with God's approval yet bringing much heartache, despair, destruction and ruin. Yes and their souls they say are clean as is their conscience.
We are in a new day and age where many have died and are dying in many ways for what they truly believe is Gods will. They die not only through the physical act but by economic deeds as well and at the hands of other humans,. The difference being these humans hold to the same or conflicting ideologies, beliefs, perspectives, desires and goals and ambitions of this world.
So realizing that this is reality, I have come to understand now more then ever, even while in the physical state of being, that it is true that I and many others having died, we are no more of this world. In it certainly, just not of it and as such we cannot possibly communicate effectively with anyone of the world. They just do not speak our language, know our perspective, understand our goals and beliefs, comprehend.
We are none entities even while we think not. In my opinion we are still physically here but only as fodder for society, the wealthy, the exploiters, the greedy. We are meaningless in the earthly scheme of the powerful and wealthy. Only important as servants, workers, assets. Of course this drawers anger from all who pridefully maintain they are someone importance while also professing a belief in God which does not reflect in their works. Sorry, the greatest of leaders and men must bow before God and are only as equals before all men. They only set themselves up on high by nature of earthly perceptions. That is the root message of Lincoln's address and from our forefathers.
When we forget about the general welfare, the common good, our future posterity we are and have become of the world. Our goals, desires, all we seek of the world. It is out zeal, drive, ambition and works that keeps one pointed in that direction.
Now this is not about wealth or even power. If you are in the world but not of the world your answers and solutions are not what the world would deem logical, correct, necessary, important. Example even while you assume all is well with your credit you never know when that credit agencies messes up or the bank and that will impact you immensely. Your recourse sue them for correction. Isn't it strange they can track what they gave you to the penny but not the 700 million or so We the People gave to them, amazing. Hence you are not of this world are in effect dead to the world as far as they are concerned, by fact. You are just not important to them. Government help, well you may as well call on Peter Pan. So we are as the title indicates by worldly standards and definition Having died, we are no more to the world. Yet having died through Christ we live on forever but only not here and until He returns, Mirantha, come quickly Lord Jesus.
So reality says to me why write to truth or of the world? It makes no sense any longer. Those who are not in the world know and they agree those of the world could care less. Simply speaking it is that easy to grasp.

I keep trying to compare it to the Great Depression, and while there are similarities there are vast areas where the comparing just doesn't seem to work for me. I had relatives give me money for Christmas ($200) and I wanted to buy a drafting table for my art work, but ended up spending it on medications at the Wal Mart Rx. I got paid on the 23rd and I sat around all evening wondering if I was going to be able to buy food and gas to get me through to my next pay day. In less than 6 months I will be 59 years old, and I can see 60 from where I am now. I am starting to believe that entitlement programs are things I am not entitled to, and perhaps no one is entitled.As always, you give me much to think about, and when I think I have to do it slowly so I won't have to do it again later. We have two mortgages, carrying my sons so he has a roof and support two elderly and sick moms and help my daughter. I write to reality and know there is no help. I write because people need to know the truth not fantacy or facade. I live in Florida. I do not call it the darkness state for nothing. I am happy I give you food for thought but not if it causes you trouble. That is never my intent. Please don't think you are the cause of any trouble for me. I live in my head, so getting stuff to think about is like getting new furniture. I have new stuff to kick back and enjoy. I wrote a rather hard article which I just posted because frankly I am amazed at why so many ignore the realities of our lack of leadership. A malaise of acceptance has crossed all over this land and this state is the epitome of darkness. I know first hand because I have and I am living it. I would be remiss if I did not say there is some help but I would also add we are mere people, families and not investors or the wealthy. Sad that they pompously strut around speaking of people when they know not what they do. All the best to you and keep writing. I am in Hernando so we are neighbors. Every work day I drive from a very dense population to a very rural area with large areas of pasture land, cows grazing, fields where winter wheat is growing, places where oil is being pumped. The people that live in this area are often more focused on taking care of the land, and their animals. They don't pay attention to some of the decisions of their elected officials. Laws are being passed that I feel hurting the people and they don't know it. You know you can cut a tree down and the roots don't realize they are dead for a long time. That is what is happening, I fear. In Oklahoma they have made decisions to take money the people voted on to spend one way, and they have just decided to spend it another way and no one seems to notice. I agree with you that too often our elected people claim to know us, and be for us, but they have no clue about the people they represent. It is easy to happen, because they become isolated from the people so easily. Greenspan(sp?) finally admitted he had been wrong, but what I thought was, "When was the last time Allen Greenspan went to Publix, or a Super WalMart to stock up on food? They don't have a clue what it is like to live like the rest of us live.Please log in to respond to this comment.The sad part is some, not all were born with the silver spoon, some came from backgrounds such as ours. They have long since forgotten that or never had values to start with. In my opinion they are all corrupt in every way shape and form and these are the types spoken of in the Word. That is whysome may say I write doom and gloom and I am pessimistic or negative I have come to realize trust no man and place all your trust in He who told us exactly what was to happen. The poor, well they will always be with us as will the exploited and used. Greed, this worlds Gods as well, that is until He returns You hit the nail on the head.
