What Are the Signs and Symbols For This Age?

Well signs are defined in Webster's Dictionary as "something material or external that stands for or signifies something spiritual " A symbol as defined by Webster stands for or suggests something else by reason of relationship, association , like a visible sign of something invisible. So the act of something like courage is a visible sign of an invisible thing. The two go hand in hand and are part and parcel of how God reaches us. It is therefore up to us to recognize them as they are provided. Needless to say but I will, some do, some don't and some don't really care.
In the years before Christ God used the prophets. After that he used Christs disciples and yes even common folk and people of all walks of life even up until this day and age. Of course God also brought forth signs and wonders that many to this day debate. Yet all signs and symbols none the less to us.
So timing, use, situation, age, conditions and other factors, all evolving at the same time, or in sequence or relationship to each other, bear testimony and yes provide the signs and symbols for us and become pertinent and important to their purpose. Example if you use a term that cannot be utilized in relationship to other things then its significance is diminished and less important. It would not be factual or relative because other aspects have not taken place or fallen into line. Example, if you said 100 years ago there would be a nation called Israel and that the Jews of the world would return and capture Jerusalem, that would not be recognized, fact. So everything else in relationship to that event would also not be fact or possible at that time.
So if we, that is as professed believers and doers who actually believe and follow His teachings understand that God's Word says "when you hear Peace and Security, etc" that he is providing a warning, advising, giving us a sign and yes a symbol to be aware of and to pay attention to. When God's world is preached by anyone it should be paid attention to. Yet, and this yet you must grasp because it is significant, when it comes from someone in authority, a World Leader, a person or renown and who the world recognizes and yearns to listen to, then it becomes even more important to those who profess and believe. Mind you I said believe not just profess. Many profess but are in fact like warm. Many will scoff and ignore, but then again they, in relationship to this, are a conffirmation of it in their very words and deeds.
It is also more significant in relationship to other things, the World Situation, evolving events, possibilities all other signs that are moving and which are not yet evident but that can become reality in the near future.
So when our newly elected leader, our president uttered the words Peace and Security in the context of speaking to the world, was that a sign and symbol, a warning, and advisement and edification an alarm or was it coincidence, harmless expression, mere words selected for a speech?
So if the Word of God specifically states that we who are believers would not be deceived, that we would know when His coming, yes His return was even at the door and that we would not be decieved. Yes we who see unfolding right before us the events, not yet here, but approaching possibility as defined in God's Word, what are we to make of it?
In my opinion, based on God's Word and my belief in it, the reality is a real possibility that we should take heed to. That we are to be even more prepared, take notice and be on guard. It is as i say, simply speaking what I believe. I ask no one to follow what I say. No, I only ask you who say you believe if Gods Word, regardless of how you view the bible is speaking out to you, to consider that which you say you believe in.
Peace and Security. Two simple words many long for. What does it mean to us who profess we believe and those of us who say we follow?

And I did find Peace and Security in the Bible prophecies.Please log in to respond to this comment.Jennifer, Hillary is our new Secretary of State, now interestingly Obama has made peace between Arabs and Jews one of his highest priorities. Right now as I write some factions in Israel want to exchange land for peace. That means giving up Jerusalem. Now that is a key of the Oslo accords, look it up on the net. Once they make that peace, whoever brings them together, is, according to the Word, he will make peace, Danial for 3.5 years and I will repeat, is the according to the Word the Antichrist. Now we must keep in mind there are many different time lines and these events must come to be before Christ returns. We cannot attach mans timeline to Gods. For Christ to Return there must be peace [those living in peace in unwalled cities] wow what wall are they talking about? Think? Then the Temple must be rebuilt. It won't be until peace. Now there is another study that says the actual site of the original Temple is not where the Dome of the Rock sits but Adjacent according to ancient recently discovered text left from Roman conquests. If true that would allow the Jews to rebuild their temple next to the Dome and all will be happy for 3.5 years. Now the Antichrist is believed to come out of Europe. There is much about this man,his speech will captivate and mezmerize, he will be a world leader, he will come in peace and he willa rise out of realitive obscurity, he will gaurentee Isreals safety. Wow another recent article about Obama if you pay attention to the little ones on the back pages. True, who knows, just reported in brief as something he may do to secure peace. Also, interestingly just yesterday in the Sunday paper Obama had his roots traced supposedly all the way back to the Pilgrims and Europe. There is another study going on right now that even traces His Afro side to Israel [bio metrics] through Solomon. Remember it is known knowledge about the Ethiopian Jews and the Arc of the Covenant. Speculation, surely but possibilty. Yet once again the key is Gods time line. We cannot use mans, but BELIEVERS, NOT PROFESSORS, are to know when the Word says even at the door, 1st Thessalonian Chapter 5 which is the warning. It does not say anywhere that Temple must be built first for that phrase to be used. It can be said 50 / 100 / 10,000 times more, it is what it is, a warning. Now get this, the other night I wrote another entire article on Obama, the World and His being hailed as a Savior. I didn't say that the press did. People all over placeing their trust in Him, naming children after him and on and on. What has this man done otehr then be the first black man elected president? Really nothing of significance, reality and fact. Yet Oprah even called him "The one". ":He is THE One", she said. What do you read into that? You know she is into New Age? Now is he the one? All speculation but can he be a precurser of the one. Settingt he stage so to speak? So all of my recent articles, everyone has been around the end times. We who are get this "not asleep" that we should be oevr taken, Gods Words, must be able to read the signs that God has left. Now you are doing exactly what God wants? Do not follow Bob, any man but the Word. It is all there for us who believe to know. Now I'll end with this, follow the Jewish Wedding Feast. It is a key that some ministers are preaching. hmm..Well, I highly doubt that it will be someone from Europe who will guarentee Israel's safety, as most Europeans are more sensitive to the Palestinians. I can believe that it will be someone from the United Nations, but most probable it would be in America. I guess the man I was referring to is his Chief of Staff ( I think) Rahm Emmanuel. I think it would be very likely for him to ensure peace between the two in some way. And if so, I could easily see him as a possible egomaniac that might be considered to be the Messiah by the Jewish people. The Temple Assoication is already building and have built much of the internal structure of the third temple, and they plan on constructing this adjacent to the Temple Mount ( as the Arabs have full control over the Dome of the Rock. Yet they are waiting for the what they consider to be, the real Messiah to come. Yet, the also know very well that the Chrisitans are expecting the antichrist to come and sit in the temple and proclaim himself God. In fact, there are some Israeli Christians who are trying to protest this building of the third temple.Now, this is an exaggeration, but it could be possible if he were to take some extreme action regarding the security of Israel. Now this is important, the return does not have to be before they pick up their rituals. No in fact it will come with peace. Now Emmanuel is an interesting prospect we could keep an eye on.
