Now the title holds some significant aspects for believers. Non believers of course scoff at biblical prophesy while accepting without doubt pagan and other prophetic statements of man. However to accept God, what proof have we?
Well in that regard and not as a religious lesson but only as one to illustrate that we short change ourselves if we profess to be intelligent, intellectual, thinkers when we simply discard the Word of God because we have no tangible proof in a God, or so one may believe. In fact many recent discoveries support the bible historically. All one need say what is the definition of theory? Plausible, feasible, possible, within the realm of reason, etc but not fact. Yet I do not care to debate that. Once again and simply speaking, choice, yours.
So we can throw in any number of other religious prophecies not in the bible. Many of which are in union with pagan prophecy yet having a distinct difference many miss. What is that you say? Well this is essential, the pagan prophecies foretell the end, Christian prophecy speaks to the end of the world as it is known and the rebirth of a new world, without end. Quite distinctly different.
So at Fatima in Portugal and in other prophecies and here in the bible we see the nations who play a significant role in the ladder days. Yes here is but one bible chapter in which they are listed using their ancient name but none the less the same nations
Now in Ezekiel 38 of the Bible it is very explicit about the ladder days activities. Turn to Daniel or any other of books and you have similar answers. Answers written thousands of years ago and most have come to pass. It doesn't take a bookie to know that is areal good bet. Hey go to any track and you find the handicappers doing similar, checking history. Now understand this. It matters not how you view the bible as a form or even if you believe in it. No it matters that there is information available that a thinking person should not discard without careful consideration. Now is the message for all, yes. Will all comprehend or accept, certainly not. I don't say that God does. However, and that however is a major one. It is provided so that all have a chance top come to the full knowledge of God before he returns.
You see now God is a Merciful God wanting none to perish. However when he comes back he comes as an avenging God, His words. So when you hear peace and security mentioned. No not by some insignificant one such as I, but a world leader that can speak to the world and many nations, that is significant. When you understand a New World System may come into being. That is significant. When you understand the significance of the alliance between Russia and Iran, that is significant. When you hear about Peace Now in Israel and understand what is involved and "un-walled cities". That is significant. One can certainly list any number of other significant signs butthese are in my opinion, based on the signs and symbols all about us, coming to the fore soon and are major.
Scoff, hey it does not matter. As I say and not to be rude but as a believer you as well are a fulfillment of what will be. Now I mention this because all my life I too have been wondering why things happen that many just can't seem to understand. I too found initially God's word hard to read or understand. Why, because the times were not right for them to be considered.
Now I dare not profess to be a profit, certainly not. What I do say as a thinking person is this. God only knows the day or the hour . Yet Jesus told His followers that they would know the signs were even at the door. When i compare His Word to events of this age it seems highly plausible.
So if you are a thinker, one who likes mystery, one who likes to delve into the unknown, well here is a chance to look, investigate, determine on your own. To make a choice. Not on what I say, certainly not. On what you get from your own efforts. That is all God asks of all of us.
