Simply Speaking - Americans Are Vulgar, Sick and Racist Imperialists.

Now before you jump up and hang me lets find the source of that. John Kenneth Gailbraith, who wrote "The Affluent Society", 1958, which led in my opinion to the indoctrination of many people and especially our leaders through the colleges all over this land and most certainly the prestigious schools of the Eastern United States and Europe was a leading economist of our time. It was his guiding principal which formed the basis in my opinion for much of what we see happening today. In fact our new president and many in government and business and in society studied and are studying this same philosophy, theory, system. He himself was a leading advisor to presidents.

He embraced people, average Americans as the bovine. Just lead them from pasture to pasture and they will follow. It was rendered out of a policy of condescension and disdain for consumerism and the lust for bigger, better. Can we use coveting and greed here, perhaps bling for the common folk? It was the, get this, "manipulation"of the masses through TV, the media, advertising, etc, in 1960 that formulated the belief of Americans as vulgar, sick and racist imperialists.

So in 1950 voters gave Eisenhower the nod over the extremely liberal Stevenson because of perception, not realizing, as was reported that Eisenhower held a disdain for the masses and get this average Americans. According to liberals, Eisenhower's election illustrated the fact of the masses and their bovine simplicity. Once again, simply speaking of course they were "manipulated" by the media verses understanding, knowledge, fact. Sound familiar?

Hey this isn't me who said all this, it is the elite and many of our leaders. Now what of our nation?

Let me give you these extracts and see if you agree? I'm sure you will recognize the source but please consider the use of the wording.

1- "Every worker who knows and understands what is going on at "his" factory, every office employee working in a bank, factory or commercial house, who cannot remain indifferent to his country's ruin, every engineer, statistician, accountant-all should do everything in their power to collect accurate, even fragmentary, and, if possible, documented data concerning this orgy of pillage, i.e., concerning prices and profits. "

2- "The bourgeoisie [wealthy] are today evading taxation by bribery and through their connections, we must close all loopholes.

3- "the Best Way to destroy the capitalist system is to debauch the currency".

Now some may call me a Communist for quoting this but in reality I used these excerpts to demonstrate what was happening then from a much different perspective as it was happening at that time and also right now in our day and age, no more no less. I say for the educated to ignore what is available for their own edification is sad as stated in number 1 above. You do not have to agree with the system or people but you can understand their position, view, perspective and perhaps understand why they took the positions they did? Can you see any similarity with the words as relating to today?

So while once can write what has already been it is senseless. Why, because I see it right before me each day with each article's response or lack thereof and yes in the work ethic or lack thereof, the philosophy and attitudes, the morality, the integrity of a system at the brink of collapse.

So Lenin said some other interesting things concerning Capitalism and Socialism that perhaps looking into may suprise you? You know that old saying "know your enemy" well perhaps today that is more important then ever before?

Here, here! This, in fact, is how the rich stay rich and get richer.
You know, I spoke with a Republican Cardiologist the other day, and asked him how he felt about the election. He answered " Well, I'll just have to find smarter accountants." That's honestly all he professes to care about.

This has got to stop. I also think that we could avoid having companies hire overseas, by placing a sort of sanction upon them for doing so. In short, penalize them by denying them their corporate write-off rights, or impose BIG fines on them - enough to make it less economical to do so. It's the only way, and it could be done.

Jennifer I do hope you caught who was stating this? I suspect you did? If you search the web you may find even more you agree with. Now I am not a communist but like I say, know your enemy. Perhaps their perspective is highlighting why we have so many problems?  The future is with you and those of your generation not mine. We are the ones who created this mess yet to make new we need new, not more of the same.  PS: if you listen to our "new" leaders your suggestion  will NOT happen because that smacks to them of isolationism and they are who they profess in that regard, free traders. No problem with that but I prefer FAIR traders.  Best Wishes, Robert

I don't know Robert..There is no evidence to support that our new President will continue with the same unfairness. In fact, it is this that he wants to repair. I'm not sure why an elitist would have written the above quote. It is anti-elitist.

Jennifer, I agree I think he wants to help people That I believe. Yet when I write I write specifically using the term over and over "Average". This is essential to all my work. Now how do I say this without offending because I don't want to, yet I know my word selection can be direct at times. Simply Speaking, all they do, all, is for those who have. If we talk middle class 60 million of us are not. To that the average are  not be included in anything but scraps and that is fact. The answers lay in their words and deeds what they do and don't do and sadly it is as flagrant as snow in Florida. Yes the elite" as I use it " those who have, the wealthy, powerful will not consider the average person.  I hpe this answers you?
