America Awakes To Change.

First off we must all join in offering our prayers and best wishes for our new President and Vice President, if not for religious reasons then as simply being Americans united as one nation, indivisible. Now is the time that will test his metal as a MAN.

That said what was the real result of yesterdays election? Really, if one looks at it from the perspective I present to you for consideration I think you will find some things interesting and worth considering as a possibility. Well the simple up front fact is we did change presidents, which would have happened with either of them and we made history to boot.

What does that mean from the worlds perception? Well evidently that is quite favorable based on at least the early morning market reports out of Asia and I suspect there will be celebration all around the world. Hey it is a historic first for America and one long in coming and one that will say to the world we are a society that values all. We may not like the politics but all have an equal chance. In fact our new president specifically mentioned the world and added a unique phrase Peace and Security. I found that interesting.

Now lets get down to other realities. In my opinion the direction of the nation will advance at an accelerated pace toward the Global dream pushed by a Congress that hasn't changed and who still fosters the Global agenda, be they of either party. No change in Congress no change in direction. It is that simple and fact. Example, Comprehensive Immigration, and other Free Trade aspects will be pushed. Now since China and other nations are pushing for a one World Monetary system and the Europeans want to get it implemented ASAP, the New World order that many laugh at, will in my opinion have the best chance it has ever had to become reality. Regardless of all the forefather talk lets hope that our new president is a man for America and we see the new jobs. That is for Americans and good new jobs.

Yet what is really the key is the cultural, political and economic shift subtly played out in the blues and reds that were placed on the maps on every major channel showing the voting patterns. The Northeast and Industrial states now solidly Democratic and not changing as long as Obama and the Democrats produce and fed by a large minority influx that will only continue to grow larger. Yet the "surprise" being the South Western states and West Coast, now heavily Hispanic swinging Democratic. Of course the Afro American population went almost totally for Obama and remains a large Democratic force. The college crowd was also a major factor while frankly the older white population voted predominantly for McCain. So without doubt the early stages of a Democratic controlled government for years and years to come. That is  unless they, the Democrats screw up as the Republicans did out of greed and power and not recognize that message.

As for the Republicans, as the white population slowly grows into the minority it is fast becoming and will be in 10 or 15 years there will be no hope for the Republican party. That is except in a few states in the south still with heavily populated wealthy Middle Income whites. In my opinion that too will erode to where it is possible we could become a one party government. Doubt it, but possible, with many smaller fringe parties challenging the main party.

The real question is will the loyalties of these minorities remain with the Democrats as their individual wealth increases or will they migrate toward the Republicans or others as has been the case? What party will the whites embrace as the new minority poor and average and as their wealth, position and power declines? Will they stay Democratic now that they have switched? It is worth conversation and consideration.

So the change for me as one who voted for neither, or any currently in office, is what change will they deliver and what was the real change which already took place last night culturally, politically, economically and socially that many preoccupied with the Obama win, overlooked?
