The realities of health care for the elderly is that one can assume you will get care regardless of financial status or ability. However, the real reality of it all is there are certain criteria that goes into motion regardless if you have health care or not and if you are considered "Middle Income" or less. The wealthy not in this as a factor.

Now the facts, the truth the reality is I know first hand and I provide it to you openly for your sake not mine. In my case they have gotten to the point where they in my opinion of course, we must be politically correct, are slowly terminating my mom. If you never had to deal with what I am you will never know and I pray to God you never do know. yes ahrd thing to say becuase we all know she is 94 and how long do you expect her to live right? hey your all set become a doctor. I expect them to follow the oath they took before God, whatever GOd that is they recognize to provide care. Rhetroically I have to suspect it is not the same God they profess.

So the very real fact by my opinion and experience is our government does not promote the support of extending life for the aged. In the case of Continuity of Care, Case Management, pro active aggressive treatment, non existent. Buzz words for the facade.

I can write pages but I won't only to say this. If your prime or treating physician won't take action, even the most basic, caring, compassionate, action and regardless of what their staff, the nurses, those on the lower levels know as right, it won't happen, period.

Now I won't say that there aren't good caring, doctors. There are. Yet these are far and few between and in my area of the land Florida, we seem to get the ones who ran or run from other locations only to set up shop here and thrive off of the elderly. The state well enough said my friends, you continue to believe if you want in the tooth fairy, the Easter Bunny and our leaders. It is evident you for the most part believe what you want.

So understand this. If and when you get past that 70 odd years the bible allots don't look for CARE, understand this that you "have lived a full life and really there is nothing we can do". Oh, and I forgot to mention one word about care, OREGON.

Oh, you don't know what I am talking about? Well just wait a few months and you will soon know first hand. That is after you elect those who will make change for you.
