Isnt It Really Gall?

Now I have written to this before and got little attention and I expect the same from this. Yet when one writes they throw a little bit of themselves out there for some to agree, some to be critical and some, yes, albeit the few, to attack. Yet, with perhaps the most significant election in the history of this nation about to conclude, and I don't mean good family person, speaker, race, color, creed or sex, although that is important, just why doesn't deeds count at all? Well I know, not suspect, it is all wrapped up in every article I have ever written and there are quite a few. Yes and no answers, criticism or attack and little to no facts or substance can change that. Why, it just does not matter.

Yet here I go again asking because at some point up the road someone just may go back and say why didn't people do or say or ask something and they may come across what I am writing to and find their answer. It won't matter to me, what will be, will be, like it or not.

So lets address what I am speaking to, Gall. Gall is defined in the Webster Dictionary as having brazen boldness coupled with, get this, impudent assurance and insolence which is defined as insulting and yes contemptuous. I don't know why only a few find it this way but when these candidates and parties get up in front of us and espouse that Americans are going through a difficult time and they imply they have the answers and will solve it all that is way past comprehension. It is in my opinion utter GALL.

Why, well, they are by fact, act, deed, works, all of them , regardless of party, the very ones who brought this all about. It is that simple. So why would any people want more, unless in my opinion they are the same or have gained in some way? To elect the very same people who stole from you, took from you and destroyed many a family and even our nation in my opinion defines the laws of logical thinking. Yes even hoping in them, unreal.

Yet then again as someone pointed out to me why do I think everyone has logical thinking or common sense or thinks in a similar manner? Good point. Yes I admit guilt there in my arguments of making that assumption. Common sense, logical, facts, truths, just not evidently a part of everyone's capability or desire to fit into the equation when making a rational decision. Yes and we are not talking education, or even intelligence. So I must ask myself are we not talking the ability to recognize and see and grasp that which is blatantly clear, obvious, on the record? Evidently that is as I say not pertinent.

So watch their info commercials, see the people at their rallies, listen to them destroying one another with lies, fabrications, half truth, innuendo, promises that even the experts and they themselves say will be hard to keep if at all and are a stretch at times and in my opinion it goes way past anything that can be grasped. Yes and then watch the people who buy into it. Rhetorically, I guess it is possible many do not have those attributes or like what they see and say regardless of truth?

Now I am presenting to them facts and statements made by these candidates and their parties and wondering how others come to a different perspective? Yes many talking perspective today but zero, plus zero is still zero. And yes I have seen no evidence of their leadership during this entire crisis, that they created. Y es they created as part of thier Congress, why? No one seems to care why they can rush a bailout through but nothing for people except more debt, YEA!@

To me it is a slap in the face to all of us, a slur, a demeaning perspective of us all as individuals and our capabilities. Their deeds and records right before us all and yes even what they have said, who they have associated with, who they belong to, who are their peers, their allies and those whom they sought out, fact speaks blatantly to it all, but who cares?.

So in my belief it goes way past reasoning and weighing of outcomes. It goes way past anything anyone can muster to say. I care not about a degree or multiple ones on the wall, or if you're a "common Joe" as the guy from Ohio they banter about, a genius expert, a six pack man or a soccer mom. The facts, the truth, what is reality speaks blatantly to it all. Why just why is it not recognized? Yet in seven days we will elect them all over again. That is the minority.

So many can write to issue of morality, values, character, truth, facts, brotherhood, love, compassion, mercy, faith, religion, God, or the Golden Rule, or whatever else that is good and decent and it will go nowhere. Yes sadly no where. Why, just one mans opinion but if they can stand up and profess and people actually accept it, then it is in my opinion too far along to change anything.

My fellow Americans, three magic words but just that, words, that is without the deeds to back them up.

Thanks much for your kindnesses, you are a person of deeds and I and many know your zeal for our Lord is evident in your works. Things are improving for both moms although a long road ahead. As for the article I thought to myself "how dare they come as sheep" as if their hands are clean. I can accept "I was wrong and errored" but pride seems to be more the day. I am looking for humbleness in a cold and hard world. No what theys ay does not add up to their deeds and in that beleivers know them by that. Blessings to you and yours and I must say in a friendly manner, you are one tough Latino lady and I mean that with the highest respect.

I know, I wish I would here an "I'm sorry, I made a mistake"...

Thank you for the kind words!  You made me smile and laugh--my kids call me one tough mama!

They don't know a whole lot about my past, but they say, "anyone who grows up on Hood St. in Huntington Park has to be tough".  I am blessed beyond measure, I am so glad God's grace reaches out :-)

Hang in there Robert, God is with you to strengthen you everyday.  Try not to let the anger with election and state of the economy settle in your heart.  Lots of love to you dear friend.
