That old saying pull the wool over your eyes is alive and well in America. I have come to the belief that this entire election and what is happening here in America is of divine destiny. It just cannot be that a professed Christian of any denomination and a professed religious nation could allow greed, to exploit and destroy people. It is in my opinion done at the very hands of those who call themselves believers, but are they really?  It is an opinion formed of deeds and what believers must use as a measure of a person, the fruits of ones labor, not their words. Yes and I find Love thy Neighbor sorely missing and more of a lack of compassion and blame even in many who profess. Is that a sign that follows after a believer? We all need to think about that.

So lets get down to the gist of the article. These two Presidential candidates touted their roll in pushing through the bailout plan "Rescue". It proves to me first, their ability to lead and secondly their motives. They always speak of the Global economy first and then "the middle class", carefully avoiding the remainder unless cornered and then what would you expect them to say? Why form this opinion? It now seems that these very same banker / investors who were part of the bailout are raising the rates for home owners. Why? Well it is simple. They force the marginal mortgages into foreclosure as well and create new borderline cases even while rates are falling. Yes and waiting until the government comes along and we get to buy as many of them up as we can. Yes some will say good thing, they most likely would have anyway. These are the types that think like them. Yet the method and the fact that these people have been trying for months to negotiate and received nothing from these banks / investors speaks to it all. They are not interested.

Is the market still in flux, are there still negative signs all about, are people being destroyed each passing day? I am living this nightmare as is my family and yes friends. Real life decent people who never were irresponsible now not credit worthy and labeled. Please say all you want and while you can ignore the truth it is still the truth. 

 

Need another example? One woman had a short sale pulled out of that could have saved her home. Thrown on the street as reported by the press. Are there more you bet there are. Yes like the AIG executives it says it all about them and this so called leadership who passed this bill and many of those who still want them. It speaks very boldly to who they really are. I venture to say those families now on the street and many who are on and soon will be on the public dole have few to no hopes. Yes and please don't give me the irresponsible bit the answer is plain as day for those who wish to see.

  

Well sadly the wool still remains for many. Those who have and who think of only what this world offers. Yes they have been to the mountain top, shown the world and said, yes, that's for me. Yes they are of the world even while they may not profess it. Their idols made of earthly treasures.  It is what it is and as demonstrated in their works, all they do and don't, like it or not. They, in my opinion just like those who hung our Lord on a Cross, have no real idea of what the hell I am talking about.

Just what is this man saying? Well in a nutshell I see that they are for the very most part happy content and overall life is good for them. Some small concerns but that to shall pass for them. The rest of us, well labeled or attacked. We are the odd man out, the minority view, the boat rockers, the whistle blowers, the problem for them. They just don't get what we write to and truth or do not care to.  It just doesn't add up to what they profess by their works, their opinions, their deeds in what they do or don't. That is fact, truth of itself.  

 

What I write to is how we got to where we are as a nation and a people and it is all about what is happening all about us, everyday and every way and yes where we are going as a people and a nation. Like I stated, it is evident I am in the minority opinion along with a few others. Better we stay out of their way.

Yes, I for one do not like what I see for me, for mine and yes yours. Yet I have to understand this is what they want.  It is not about average or for that matter people. It never was. It is all about money and making more. The collection of wealth. As I stated nothing wrong with that, just who is destroyed in the process.  

 

Ok I'll use their example Joe the Plumber. He can contemplate  a $250,000 business so one might assume he is definitely not average. Can you without a loan or credit or financial banking? No you have to have. In fact I am of the opinion he is more upper middle class by their own standards and he is their example. How about the young family up the street losing their home? Oh, how sad, next.  Enough said. It seems Joe has other problems?

Then again I stopped for a moment in my tracks as they saying goes. I needed to go back to my religious roots to find a reasonable answer to it all and there it was. I just had the wool over my own eyes. After all many profess, am I right, that they are Christians, right, so what I write next they should comprehend, that is should, right? One would think so? I'm not stating anything but fact but using my own perspective to place it in a more contemporary perspective.

  
So really my faith beliefs I put into use to finally understand that all this rhetoric is meaningless gibberish. That it all has to come to be. No not an Obama or McCain, that is not the issue because they can do nothing alone, no nothing, fact. They, like we, are subject to those who really run the nation. Many know nothing of the totality of it all and what is happening right before our eyes and could care less. They just feel it does not impact them. Keep that in mind for later paragraphs you 20 or so who read me.

Yes now lets visualize if we can that Noah was out there speaking and all were laughing and joking and ridiculing and attacking him. Yes and even today if he showed up they would still do exactly the same.  What I am saying is the signs he was preaching to, were in that day there for all to see and they didn't. They were blind to it all. Intelligent yes, smart yes, successful yes, religious yes, but dumb to reality. Their focus on something else. The Son of God came [ok here is where we separate the real believers from those who just profess or are what I call selective believers, 2^nd Timothy] and they didn't believe Him and killed Him in the name of His father.

 

Yes as I said before, intelligent, religious, professed believers, scholars. Yes and it all came to be. Rhetorically one might ask, how many were walking around reading their Sunday paper and saying, hey that doesn't effect me, they are doing a good job, how did the Gladiators do, do you think I can still get tickets?  The majority stood with those in power, the same group who ran the show for years and who did the deed. 

 

Now I am a sinner, not perfect and certainly I have my faults, yet what I address has always been facts as done by their own hand. Not yours or mine, theirs. Their works. I am open to responsible correction and substance, however, I get very little in return. Why, it is simple, there is nothing to respond to. Like I just stated what I write to is the facts as they did them or not.  However, I came to realize this is all part of what is and what is to be and for all else to be fulfilled. It is as simple as that. As in the days of Noah. Hey look, see, the signs are all over. It is the time of sifting. For the Lord Himself says he will start with his own house first. Is this not a good measure?  yes our works, in what we have done and better yet what we fail to do. Love of neighbor?
