The Foreclosure Scandal in America

Some say my writing is, well passionate, intense, direct and many shy away from reading my work because of that. I think those words are more polite. In many cases I just state it like it is, period. In this age of being politically correct and non offensive I sometimes people might over do it. Well I try not to be rude but don't marshmallow what is fact. I try to always accept another's opinion but if not based on facts one should be able to point that out. I'll accept being wrong and in fact when it comes to much of what I write to I would prefer to be. Yet sadly that hasn't happened.

Repetitious yes and until it sinks in, because evidently it hasn't, I continue. One might ask why say it again and again, but to those who see and understand and who know people are hard to change, even though that is what they profess to want. People hope in the very same ones who brought it down upon us all. Yes, sadly fact. Yes, how strange a nation of professed believers allow and accept it all so readily. Why is it not recognized and how do people literally justify it? As I have said, who cares if they are black, white, a female, etc what does that matter? History, please, that does not feed people, clothe them, shelter them and while it may be something we all long for it should not be the deciding factor as is being a war hero any different. We need leaders not talkers. Doers not promises.

So really what what else can one say if people are dying? If you profess to be who you claim to be then one is obligated to take a stand and to make known what you see and perceive by deeds as wrong, or sin. It is that simple. So what I write to is not about a physical death, although some may die from the stress of it all. No, the financial horror thrust upon this nation and people of all walks of life, races and creeds. Their utter destruction piece by piece by piece by a hypocrite system of evil. No not Capitalism, the people within that system who use it for an evil end. No it isn't about an affinity with woman, or race, looks, speaks well, a war hero, what I call the Easter Bunny package. No, it is about the survival of Americans and America as we now know it. It is as simple as that.

In my opinion these articles should be blasted each day across the pages as headlines until people take action. No, not because I wrote them because any number of others write to it much better then I, but because they are reality and they speak to the death of this nation. It is that simple.

Yes daily as we pass through life these are issues not everyone feels or knows about or even believes. So I continue to write in an intense manner to stir some awareness that people are hurting. Perhaps not you the reader but your fellow human being. Does it matter? Only in what you profess to be if that is a believer and that is only demonstrated by your deeds. Otherwise move onto one of the other topics. This will only hurt your pride.

So in my opinion to not consider this Foreclosure mess as anything but a scandal would be ludicrous. It is so immense a scandal that for any decent or rational person to not look at the entire picture and come to that conclusion would be impossible. The circumstances of what led to We the People bailing out private investors to the tune of an estimated hundreds of billions of dollars. This has been going on for quite sometime now. It has it's roots in my opinion in arrogance and greed and yes a lack of value and character that is so immense, as I just stated, it blankets this society in every aspect under a dark cloud. Just look at the other recent bailouts and that speaks enough to it all. Yes and people get their help cut.

Now this bailout was as many experts are saying to save the Global investors and market. Do not think for a moment this had anything at all to do with helping average Americans. Example, the young man across the street had an investor come to make a bid on his Foreclosed home and offered 30 cents on the dollar for it and she said that was high. Take it or leave it and that was three months ago. Things have gotten even worse since then. The house next door empty, across the street empty, up the block empty. Get the picture. Who will buy them, rent them, who? The investors [bank] will not renegotiate with him and would rather sell to that type of person and take the write off, why? Perhaps you should read my earlier article of last month about a true to life situation concerning this new Foreclosure bill. No I don't think many of you will even take the time. Your too busy talking about that new female VP or talking about what a minister said about Abortion, My God, get past all that please and look at what is happening to decent average American families all across this land. If that doesn't matter what does that truly say about YOU?

So for anyone to Dream that the American Dream of home ownership for average families and people is alive and well in this age is quite simply playing the fool. The vast majority of average people and yes certainly the young families and singles cannot qualify. Yes, they no longer qualify, period. Usury and low wages have done that quite well.

No jobs, no pay, no pay or low pay leads to everything else called "not Credit Worthy", irresponsible type, personally irresponsibility that those who have like to banter about and they do, is their answer for it all. You can hear them, read them and you know them well. Sadly they don't know it is they who are at the real root of this evil and yet many do know they are and could care less. They are going to find a way to accumulate as much as they can and then take it with them. I worked for mine you work for yours.

So now that we own the two major players in the mortgage market the Dow went wild. Investors heaven. They are protected by us, We the People. Yes and our government still can't guarantee this will SAVE IT ALL . Hey you who have what does that mean, because those who don't have it doesn't matter in the least to them. Will that wake you up, I suspect not.

Why, No jobs, no pay, no pay or low pay leads to everything else called "not Credit Worthy". Can't rent, can't buy, can't even open a bank account so what do they do? No one has the answer. And when your champions of change say they will do, they can't. The fatted calf is gone, moved off shore with the rest of the haves. Industry, technology, manufacturing years away if ever coming back and for who?

No not fear just truth, reality, fact. Yes and many of you who have still don't get it. How very sad because of what you are leaving for your posterity. Yes you will be worms long before your posterity knows of what you did and what it will mean to them. It will be, your legacy. No not your accumulations, successes, conquests no what you did to them and this nation. Yes all by your own hands in what you do and fail to do.

Yes you would rather protect your money and the hell with people. It is as simple as that regardless if you deny it or not. It is all about money and you know something "America has no problems" and yes " Money always trumps peace". Yes as long as my kid isn't on the battle field.

Yes the title says it all The Foreclosure Scandal in America. So, raise your hand if you are for it. Then walk over and look in the mirror and see for yourself the cause of it all. Sorry, in my opinion, just the simple sad truth.

PS: Just so you know lobbyists are trying to close on a 50 billion dollar package for American car manufacturers to upgrade their plants, etc. Yes and maybe they will even get to write these improvements off as a Tax break? Yes, the very same ALL AMERICAN COMPANIES who laid off thousands of American workers and moved facilities to Mexico and other nations. Don't they have "investors" and do we Americans now invest our money in bailing out the wealthy time after time? Well I guess we do? Now if that doesn't disturb you either what can one say? After all we have to keep American jobs here right? Two words for that line of thinking - MY God.
