A Walk Down the Path of Rape

First lets understand we are not talking bout the sexual rape. Rape is defined as that which robs or despoils or the taking away from a person. It could be to strip one of belongings, possessions or anything of value. It can also be something desirable and gained through a special effort or opportunity. Finally it is the emotional, and can be the physical and spiritual destruction of ones very being.

Now I write to Christians because it is who YOU SAY you are that will make change or not. It is simply if you are a professor only, or a doer. That said lets move to what the Word says about those who would in effect perpetrate those deeds. Yes, you see Mr. Obama has also called on people of faith to step up. Well he is right. However, the real question is his reasons? He truly wants you to vote for him, while I say vote for truth. A really big difference in my opinion based on DEEDS. Not the individual, but their works and deeds that demonstrate what they profess to believe in. What someone has done orfailed to do?

Sirach Chapter 13 Verse 18 Lion's prey are the wild asses of the desert; so too the poor are feeding grounds for the rich.

So think not the laws they pass are for the average and the poor. No they make laws that in my opinion rape. They leave little room nor compassion for trials, hardships, situations and they think of themselves as men of honor, decent, caring and yes professors.

However, in my opinion as true believers if they considered all the ramifications of their law they would not allow that which rapes those most in need to continue as written or implemented. Yes if perchance they would find an error which cause such to happen they would run as fast as they could to rectify that law.

Do we see that my friends? A simple example, credit card usury. Need another simple one. Ok I will use the state of Florida again, which I call the darkness state and in my opinion has little to offer its citizens of need. Now by law a person must insure their home to protect the investor. It is mandated. Ok but the state allows the insurance provider to establish just what you must cover and values. Lets assume your note is $90,000 owed the investor and the real home market value today is $75,000. A deficit of $15,000. The state will allow the insurance company to charge you for "replacement cost" which they can estimate at $125,000 even though you owe $90,000 and the net worth is less. Now many find no fault with that. They are the ones who gripe but can pay. Yet to a family in distress that extra cost is taken away from their survival.

So why not protect the investor and allow the option of just insuring the principal owed? No they won't allow that. They require you rebuild and yes they estimate, out of their mouths, people will charge way more to do that above and beyond normal costs because you are in a situation. Great thinking isn't it. So they in effect say in my opinion, hey we're going to get raped so why not pass that risk to you? It also speaks to their thinking and to the character of people that they expect such to happen.

So what are the options if you only cover the principal owed?

1- Well if the home is just damaged and your insurance covers most of it and you have the funds to repair after that deductible[ ?] you will fix the house. You need a place to stay.

2- However, if it is a Katrina situation or so bad you just may move and leave what is left.?

Now if your home is worth in real money much less then your mortgage and you do not have enough to fix or rebuild after settlement you will own what is left. The investor being paid first. Once again choice. What will you do?

Now in my opinion they want the house and land restored, period, yet they will be paid or you will continue to pay them if you fix it. They prefer that, much more money to be earned. They admit rape is involved and they admit, hey you get to pay. So is it not fair [ok what's fair in this world- exactly] The insurance should be based on what you owe, fair value, and provide a rebuild option. They can satisfy this just like the banks and investors do these days when you walk in for a loan. They dial onto the Internet and tell you what your home is worth. Why are you required to hire a person to appraise the home? A Realtor, the Internet, the bank can do that for you. Will they, of course not. Why, if it costs you most likely can't afford to or won't invest the time or money.

In my opinion I call it no more then Rape. It is a system run by those who have for those who have and the ones who have and who see nothing wrong in their thinking. They defend it to the death. Just listen to them and I mean listen. The harm they do, well hey as the Word says



Sirach Chapter 8 - "Contend not with influential man. Lest you fall into his power".

However, the Lord also says very distinctly, Sirach Chapter 4 Verse 28, " Even to the death fight for truth, and the Lord God will battle for you."

Well you can change that without contending. It is called your vote. Change is made by action not inaction. Change them all this election day Republican or Democrat and make a noise heard around the world that We the People will not allow Rape to continue. That we who say we believe implement the Word in deed.

Sirach Verse 16 Whoever does good has his reward which each receives according to his deeds.

Think my friends, think where you fit?

i can only hope that God has a better plan for His creations than what has been going on forever. it seems like everything is a rip off, home owner's insurance, which you may pay 17 years on, and your roof needs to be replaced, and they drop you, or raise your premiums. car insurance. i have been driving with no accidents for 35 years. (accidents in my 20's, but not in thirty years) and yet, if i get in a fender bender, same thing, either premiums go up, or you get dropped, after they have all your money.
 
between house insurance, house taxes, and home owner's insurance for the past 21 years, i could have sent all 3 of my kids to college!
 
i hope and pray help is on the way.

Thanks Sue your comments always appreciated but we must not forget we are in the world not of the world. Those of the world look for what it has to give. Those in the world go along with what those who are of the world require of us. It is a greater hope we aspire to that those of the world find foolish. In my belief system the Lord stated that trials and sorrows will be a sign of his followers. They will walk the path of calvary with him and he asks us to carry our Cross in Humbleness.
