In the Depression People Got Rich Off the Sorrows of Those Impacted

Do we not have the same today? Those who have buying low and in many cases lower then low and with a smile. The banks ready to dump the property and write it off. Yes like bad Credit Card debt, write it all off. Hey less taxes and that's the cost of doing business.
Meanwhile one's credit is ruined, they can't buy, can't get a loan and you get, because you are that low life, to pay higher for everything you do from now on, yes everything. Yes praise God he has really blessed the have types for this opportunity to make money. Yes as they like to profess, God is good economically for those that have, that have taken, that have used and exploited, or is he really the God they profess?
So as you go down the list of items, issue after issue and you see first hand the impact to this nation and our people and in this world you see those forces at play. Honor, integrity, truth from a time long ago when people were judged for who they were, what they did and failed to do, their works. Yes ancient thinking. What matters today is what did I get out of it?
Now none would dare to debate or discuss truth. Simply put they can't. Darkness must flee from the light and it does this in many forms. Arrogance, ignoring, contempt, omission, lies, deceit, half truths all serve that purpose. Just tell me this is not so?
Yes we are now in an age where we have two different societies. The land of the have and the land of the have not. It is no longer about nations, it is about that. You are either part of one group or the other with the majority in the have not group.
So if we were who we profess as a person, a people a nation then we would not have any of these issues to talk about. We just couldn't it would be impossible. So when they use the terms complex, comprehensive, difficult, what they are saying is they do not care to address the issue. In my opinion if they were honorable then what they profess to be would be first in all they do. Yes and in doing so all answers would be for the benefit and common good of all, rich and poor. Yes and we would all know the reasons why they made their decision and what was beneficial and what wasn't for the common good of all and not just the select.
So the great issues of mankind have always been never resolved. Not through revolution, blood and war, not through treaty, doctrine or law. No until man sets his values, principals, works in line with what is right and just before the God they profess there just will not be a solution. Do believers understand why God must return?
Why because there are few to none who implement who they say they are. Men and woman of honor, integrity, virtue, valor, morality. No few to none to be found. So who will I vote for is an issue that must be addressed in what they have done of failed to do, their works not what they profess, how they look, what color or gender. No the product of their hands, the fruits of their labor. By that they are known. No doubt about it and so are you.
So why do we wonder when in the depression people got rich off the sorrows of those impacted. Do we not have the same today and do you wonder why?

Top-level comments on this article: (2 total)hi robert, this was a well written interesting article. I don't know how we, the little people will be able to afford anything soon. everything goes up but the salaries. if everyone would just boycott gas for a few days, weekends for those who work, days for those who don't, or odds one day a week, evens another, maybe then we could begin to make a difference. i call fridays:) thanks for sharing, best wishes, suePlease log in to respond to this comment.Sue, this is the key. I wrote to this many times a year ago. If the little people stop buying you will get a reaction. It is the only weapong we have that is a real weapon. Now we can't buy much as it is but if we just reduce our spending on the frills, unnecessary and vote them all out, we will sound the gong. All the very best wishes, Robert. Please log in to respond to this comment.
