The Pot Calls the Kettle Black.

The pot calls the kettle black. Hey vice versa who cares did you get the point? Is it not done every single day? A writer for a large newspaper wrote yesterday to what he was upset about which is homeowners abandoning their current home because they purchased a new one on the same block for less. In many cases a relative purchased the home and then rented it back to them. He did state it was legal but hedging on borderline fraud and he was upset. Hey a "contract is a contract". Well the he last I knew a contract is not a contract if there is deception.

So lets get down to the netty gritty of it all. As I have written to before what options do these people have? Their banks won't help them or for that matter any lender. There Credit Card holder, give me a break, piles on more woe. Their expenses going up day after day, utilities, food, fuel for their car, etc, etc, etc. The next step literally the street. What would you do?

As I said their friendly HUD or banker will tell them, a fact, sorry, you are not credit worthy. You're evidently irresponsible too because you are not paying your bills. End of story as I have written to as fact and by experience. Why help you when they get the write off and rates are higher then even a short while ago. Does that tell you something?

So to survive mind you many take what options are available to them, that, or the street. What would you do? Sure are there some who see a money situation, of course. Isn't that what all of this is about? Yes, how to buy foreclosed property and make money.

Now here are the options. Stay in the home until they boot you out. Try and mitigate, ok are you a fool? Short sale to one of those foreigners who took your job and now your home. Hand it back to them and go on public assistance. I'm sure there are a few more all not beneficial to average Americans.

Now our let me say that again in my opinion the representatives of the investors, ok see I got it right, now are concerned and want to make stringent law limiting what a person can do and get this they will move that through Congress ASAP. Why, one and one is two. They will limit your ability to buy, rent or anything else because well the gander got what he gave the goose and they evidently don't like it.

In another article they talked about the county I lived in. One of the worse in the state economically. Two years ago a booming suburb now, well the county of health care, government and Education employment. The rest cleaning people's butts for $7.25 an hour and working two or three jobs if any. Training dollars, are you illegal? Food stamps. Are you illegal? Rent, utilities and food? Are you illegal? Yes and the mean average income here they brag about is $28,000 a year GROSS. What is poverty?

The county administrator says it is good people are out of work because that attracts business. Do you know why? Ok, cheap labor, people will do anything for anything to survive. Tells you something about their thinking. What is he making. Yes over $100k a year. In my opinion it evidently wasn't about people and unemployed, well that's good.

In the paper about 6 months ago I had challenged these candidates to stop in and discuss any issue. They never will with people who know the truth. Want some more. Our Florida governor who said he would never ever stand for drilling off of Florida's shore is now for it. He Flipped, oh my how strange. Do you think that VP title is on his mind. Yes even while the Titanic is sinking fast? Hey where's the life boat. Do you not remember "read my lips. No new taxes"? Oh I forgot you don't remember anything, sorry or wasn't even around as yet.

Oh and yes John McCain at a fund-raiser for Hispanics said by the way I'm still for immigration change. Yes more Comprehensive Immigration but he only mentions it when it is favorable. Yes the same as the other guy you all love. As for us major influxes of illegal workers from Mexico. Columbia and Venezuela continue. Oh and by the way, did he mention anything about that POW they found years after the Korea conflict, either of them? Hey you vets don't care? Hey you parents don't care? Not yours right?

So the issue my friends is this Is it not done every single day? Yes bu whoever needs to do it. Please give us a break when average and regular people do it fraud and morality when they do and allow it, well that's evidently ok. Yes and you still trust them to help. God help us all.

Hi Robert, well said. We have had our house on the market for 6 weeks now, and by the grace of God, it has sold for only $700 less than we wanted/needed! But one of the sad things is that we were amazed at how many people who are looking for that short sale status. I personally have a hard time with people who more than benefit from another's hardship. Hey I'm for getting a good deal, but not to the point where it could be considered robbery in God's eyes. And to have classes and books on how to benefit from foreclosures is a tradegy. You are right. It speaks to one of the many reasons our country is going down. The me first attitude is killing us. Thanks again for another thought provoking piece. ...still waiting for that personal tale :-) Love and blessings, Teresa
