At the Root of It All, Evil.

At the root of it all, evil. Who me, certainly not I, I go to church, pay my taxes, I don't bother anyone, I help people. This morning I watched a show on TV about parking your vehicle. It was shot in multiple big cities. Now if you and I [as demonstrated in the show] were to park, even too close, not put enough coins in, in a no parking zone we get a ticket. Do the "haves". Well as you might have guessed, the haves don't get in the majority of instances. In fact even the police and the ticket meter readers rarely to ever issue tickets to the haves. It is in my opinion the Law of Selective Application". Now we are not talking about the act which is wrong we are talking the person and a person who can afford to park legally but chose, selected, by individual choice, not to. Tell me that is not contempt?
Now they also use fake police decal's, signs to fool the police and enforcement people. How low do you go for a buck? I guess pretty far. Is that not a lie or is that what we call ethical relativity? Just who says a lie is a lie, white is really white, etc? You older people are scratching your head but ask someone in college and they will explain the new morality and what they are being indoctrinated into believing.
So I just released an article on "contempt" and if this isn't just one simple illustration what is? A very basic one because the contempt I am talking to effects millions, yet no less the root of it all. It also very clearly illustrates my theory of selective application. You see the meter attendant knew this was a person of influence, power, wealth so he just walked away. He applied that law. He saw only what he wanted to see and he used his power on those he recognized as having minimal. Hey why open a Pandora's box, right? He needed his job.
Now we come to the elderly, hey baby boomer's pay attention, yes the sick, disabled the handicapped, the shut in as well. We have seem massive cuts in the care of these people. Do you older people recall an earlier time in history? I have to ask because frankly I am astonished. Why is there no outcry from the church? Can it be that evil would even enter there? Well we know that is true, it just won't succeed. Hey we don't want any trouble, could this be the root of silence? I guess faith may not be that strong in some of these houses of worship? So as lovers of neighbor just how do we allow billions to shore up big business and investors but have no shame that we do nothing and actually cut from our very own? If this is not contempt then what is?
No, I won't digress into the pages and pages I have written but I will ask you if you have just started to read my articles and find interest to reexamine them. I'd ask you to look around at the signs and symbols all about us each and every day. They are there to understand and all one need do is to stop, listen, observe.
So yes the church can be filled to the rafters or half empty, big church, small church, rich church, poor church, yet it does not mean that all attending are true believers. No, many are there for the social aspects. Many are there because it is the correct business thing to do, it opens doors provides contacts, opportunities. Yes you got it that list of 100. Many are also there for pride, to be seen, noticed, important. Many are there because since their youth they have indoctrinated to go. Many are there to become accepted. Yes and while they all profess a belief, while they all sing, clap and praise are they really who they say they are. Do they put into doing what they profess?
Now as a citizen of Florida I have come to understand through real life experience how utterly inept the state is in helping people, their very own. Even this States Attorney General will tell you they only enforce the law but they do not interpret them. Go get a private lawyer. Consumer help little more then facades. hey I could really do a book on this state yes. The laws are so ambiguous there leaves an open ended solution or none at all. Now remember these laws are written first by supposedly educated people. Secondly, a vast majority for them are lawyers or business people. So in my opinion tell me there is no contempt in what they do? How can they allow it to continue as if unaware of it all? Are they totally inept? No really and in my opinion it is no more then contempt and read the definition.
Yes look around at the suffering all about and you will see it as plain as day. No, a person is not good simply because they dress well, speak well, said hello or good morning, or was pleasant, that is all good, but that is all THE EASTER BUNNY PACKAGE. No look at what they do and fail to do. The fruit of their labor. Intentions and promises may be fine but they are meaningless if never put into action.
In an article in the Wisconsin Daily Citizen a comment by Sydney Smith stated "it is the greatest of all mistakes to do nothing because you can only do a little. Do what you can." Yes that says it all.
So that my friends is where I end. It was and is always all about you, [the title of my seminar]. Yes, you and your God, you and your relationships, you and how you fit into society, you and your actions, your thoughts, words and deeds what you do and fail to do. Yes you only my friend no one else. Yes you can go through life humble, expressing true love of neighbor or contemptuous doing everything for you and only you. In my opinion, the vast majority sadly, fit into the ladder.
Why, as I say, it is all evident in what they do or fail to.
