Defending the Constitution isn't just for the military. This article is really all about perspective and ideology. It is a love story and like anything you love there is no middle ground.
Now that we are past the holiday of recognizing our brave military of current and past wars perhaps it is also time to reflect about our freedoms in a total concept? What do I mean, don't we already do that? Well frankly ritualistically, yes. In my opinion and that of our forefathers it was the duty, ok I'll say that one more time, the duty of every American, to Preserve, Protect and Defend out Constitution against all enemies foreign and get this "domestic".
So many people will use that as a counter argument for removing all guns. However, nothing could be further from the truth because outside forces, the criminal element and other interested parties will always be able to secure such. What you do in passing gun control is eliminate decent, honest Americans their rights to preserve, protect and defend their families and this nation. It is really as simple as that for those with logic, sound reasoning and who can weigh outcomes. Something in my opinion we have little of left and even with all the so called educated running about flouting Global ideology and this "New Age". Yes, New Age of enlightenment. Ok where is this enlightenment? Is it in a classroom somewhere or meeting hall?
Have we not seen the changes in our way of life, our culture our sovereignty, our beliefs? Some look at that as good. We are to quote them as saying should we not be "the world leader" and we should set the example? Perhaps that is all well and good in a Utopian world but really where do these people have their heads? Can they apply this to any other nation in the world? The simple answer is NO. They cannot even use Mexico, whose citizens violate our borders and our laws in the millions and who enforces their immigration laws severely. Of course you might say who is flocking in that direction. Well just go south to their southern border to get your answer.
So, preserve protect and defend the Constitution also means against those who would through their own selfish interests manipulate, change, alter our laws and freedoms to serve their interests be they foreign or domestic. Their interests and those they support and of what they believe in.
So when we elect representatives, our sworn by oath before their God, [yes many of us assume that to be the same God we refer to, or could it be where their heart lies], to Preserve, Protect and Defend our borders, our freedoms our way of life, do you see that happening in them? Rhetorically do we not see by fact the opposite? If we take that further right down the line item after item do we see in what they have done or failed to do laws for "the common good". Rhetorically is it not more for the selective good? Yes The Theory of Selective Application is alive and well. Yes and in my opinion somewhere up the road in history this theory will be taught as a sign and symbol of our day and age.
So Defending the Constitution isn't just for the military. No, it is for each and every American.
Now how do we do this. We become knowledgeable about everything that is happening that we like or don't like. We share that knowledge because knowlefdge is a powerful tool and weapon. We do not just listen to the Easter Bunny tales of marketing and rhetoricand broken promises . A very hard task for those who have been indoctrinated. Hey were they not in Germany even as their neighbors went to the camps? I only use that as a reality of life.
Now have come to realize that many on this web site are that 50% I speak to who literally control; the destiny of this entire country. They are wrapped in all the positives God and country, educated and active, true Americans they profess to be and many are. Yet and that yet is the defining character trait of them all, in my opinion they know not what they do. No they do not know what these representative they elect stand for, their ideology, their agenda, their plans and yet these same ones say it day in and day out openly and they never recognize it. It is called comprehension. Yes they may teach reading but does a person understand?
Of course their words are shrouded in the things Americans are hoping for and want to hear. Does that car dealer say their car only gets 18 miles to a gallon when they advertised 32 MPG? The truth is in my opinion that we are the bovine they speak about. They look pathetically at us, they who take us out to pasture in the morning and bring us in at night. Yes each and every day the same routine and that is all we know.
We are in my opinion that 50% who vote them in and that other 50% who gripe but allow it to be so. We are in my opinion those of us who have and the others who could care less who are the new have not of America. Yes, outside of our military, many of us have not taken a stance to preserve, protect and defend our Constitution and our way of life. Yes, our way of life not someone else being forced upon us.
So Defending the Constitution isn't just for the military. No it is for us all and the choice is as simple as getting up off your duff and doing something for once, just once. Do you think you can pull yourself away for an hour to vote these types all out? Well November will be here soon and we will have our answer. It will be we either preserve that document that the whole world longs for, or we just take it and flush it because in my opinion you took it all for granted.
