The Total Ineptness of It All.

When we talk about the state of the union today only one word comes to my mind, inept, or lacking aptitude, sense, reasoning, and basically incompetent. Now everyone who knows me knows that I have been writing for a few years about the systems and institutions of man and specifically the leadership or lack thereof which has brought us to this time and place. To say that many in this land haven't prospered under these people is a falsehood. Many have done well. In my opinion up to now. However, along with that in my opinion we have destroyed or significantly harmed the very fabric of our nation in what they call the "middle class". I happen to refer to them as average Americans, the new have not's. Yes and they will never come back as they once were, no never. The American dream has been in my opinion reduced and chopped by design. America has been dismantled piece by piece and our leaders brag about it and many evidently love it. Why, they still vote for them and that's a fact Jack, as the movie line goes. So please don't say otherwise. Like I just said, someone is voting for these people.
They are just that good at being ineffective and while thinking they are. Yes they truly believe they are good leaders and in their ideology. Yet the facts speak and show the opposite. In fact they are so inept it seems by what they do or don't do that no one knows just, if I may be direct, what the hell is going on. In m yopinion not one can tell you how the systems function and even if they function. They have a general idea and truly believe they do. If they only really knew. These systems and organizations just perpetuate themselves no matter what you look into. Rhetorically, one has to ask, if this is the product of educated people then please stop educating them. In my opinion their head is somewhere else and most likely where the sun don't shine.
Now they, those in charge and the educated and elite refer to us as the bovine, illiterate, beer guzzling, NASCAR, religious zealot, average Americans but all I ask you to do is to decide for yourself who is the one lacking? I refer to common sense and logic and that my freinds is not taught in any textbook. Just look at the work of their hands, what they have done or failed to do. Is it that they have no understanding of the common man? No union with their woes and plight? Are they totally aloof to it all? Well, like I said, you can answer that one.
My God, he would have a hard time with it all. Government, well just what works? Do I need to list them? Sorry, not enough time. One hand doesn't know what the other is doing. Our leaders they are totally lost and they wrote the bills and set up the systems. The people in the bureaucracy are there regardless who is elected and they plod along in charge no matter who is in office year, after year, after year, untouchables regardless if they do a good job or not. It just doesn't impact them. They are quite frankly and in my opinion their own government. They direct you through a maze that just doesn't work and is a facade, is, well you call it what you want, I call it a mess. The mess starts at one agency and continues to the next and then back again and all the way from national, to state, to local governments. And yes they pat themselves on the back for the "good job Brownie". Is it some type of a sickness that inflicts them all once they sit in the golden chair of power? Hey I'll debate it with any of them but in my opinion they don't have that anatomy somewhere to do it. I've experienced it first hand, so pick a topic.
Like I stated, do we need to discuss the economy, free trade, the war, Katrina, our infrastructure illegal workers, outsourcing, foreclosure, usurious interest rates? Why bother they speak for themselves. Have you seen a solution? Do you think there will be one? Do you still want them elected?
Business, well what can be said? You who go to work everyday are the robots of the world just pushing paper and doing your job. What major impact do you have at all on anyone if you were to stop doing what you do? Think about it, nothing. As for leadership, where the hell are they? They are truly in an Ivory Tower and no one can get to while they actually believe everything is fine. Why profits are soaring , benefit packages out of sight, salaries astronomical and the ever present Golden Parachute for failure and a sure seat on a board somehwere else. So they must be doing something right, right? Yes, in my opinion greed and exploitation and you certainly are experts at that.
Customer Service, Ok enough said about this farce of farces. A quality product, ok enough said about this topic. Quality repairs, Ok enough said about this topic. Our customers are like family. Yes a mafia family, when they are no longer needed goodbye.
Health Care well in my opinion and by nature of experiences another new level to define. In Home Health care, when you find it please let me know. Veterans care, do you really believe they care? Hospital care, how many days am I allowed? Nursing Care, once again where, isn't it just a job? Nursing Homes, well in my opinion and by nature of experience lets leave off the nursing. For these bureaucrats to think they provide real help while throwing away tax dollars left and right is so appaling what can anyone say. Just ask the people where the tire meets the road. Ok, I'll say it like it is, they don't know their derriere from their elbow about what is going on what is a waste and what is needed or good and certainly what helps. No not an expert, just experienced it all.
Well we can't leave church out can we? Hey that is sacred right? Well, just why does anyone bother to go when many if not most do not do what they profess to be? Oh sure a percentage try hard but in my opinion for the most part a ritualistic event that only has meaning at baptism, Weddings and Funerals. Think not then look around while there. Oh everyones singing and involved and praising God, ok. Then please try and take a little of it to work with you on Monday. If we all did and that includes me, what we say we are, this would never be written and this world would be in much better shape. Love what, there is more hate spewing forth then real love. Oh sure now we do have the love offering and the missions and of course the teen groups but outside of those little gatherings, when you get to work and out on the street how many really practice it? Sorry, just hang out in a church parking lot long enough and you will get your answer. Yes and you get your answer by the silence to usury, foreclosure, the breaking of law and all that goes with it in the form of dividend checks, earnings and profits and even while professing they are something they really evidently are not. In my opinion their God and the one I know are too different entities. No nothing wrong with wealth, just the overriding desire for more and more at any cost.
Once again we come full circle to leadership. Leadership for who? They worry about the citizens of other nations more then us. Our President working hard for others and one who does not see a recession or how it impacts average Americans. Does it impact him or the haves? Please give us a break. So why would he or anyone that has feel a recession? Only in their wallet. So, frankly, have you seen leadership anywhere or have you just seen people with titles and paper hanging on the wall? Oh, I don't doubt there are a hell of a lot of leaders and talented people out there, but in my opinion the majority are sorely lacking if one evaluates by what happens each and every day, yes day in and day out. Yes somewhere but not evidently at the top. They in my opinion are long past getting it done and done right. They are in my opinion more into me, myself and I and how great I am then doing and their agenda and ideology and sadly they know it as truth. They are truly smart in the things of this world if you got my drift. Those things they covet. In that regard and opinion they have no equals.
So rather then go down years of ineptness, followed by more ineptness, followed by some asinine comments as to why they are not inept, I will just end it with we average Americans are in the world of total hurt and no matter where you turn ineptness springs forth from almost everywhere. From many palaces and most things of man. No not all, thankfully, there is hope, because some are wonderful organizations with intelligent, smart, caring and totally capable individuals. Sadly I just haven't come across a hell of a lot of them. But they are there, children's hospitals, doctors who give of their time talent and treasure, teachers and educators, everyday people, our military, yes they are there, talented, good and capable. However, that does not detract from the many who say they are but really are not.
Now has it always been this way people might say? Perhaps and I have just now recognized it? However, I seem to think back to another time when things were or at least seemed different? Perhaps we were just the bovine as they say? I do remember when people had pride in their work ethic, jobs with a future, advancement, retirement, do they now? In today's society what do we really have? The answer my friends is everywhere you look, everything you touch, everything you see and everything you hear just observe, seek and you will find. Listen, watch, look, hear and the answer will come.
Yes it comes in the words, unfortunately, regretfully and in what they do and fail to do. Yes and the truly sad, yes the very sad part is of it all, is that they who are like this, and the many who have, truly believe I am wrong yet they haven't experienced what I am talking about and I pray they never have to. That sums it all up.
So I will admit I am a nothing, an unknown nothing, just an average person. I don't do NASCAR, I don't binge on beers, I really am a stay home guy taking care of two elderly moms on a limited income and facing what these types have created day in and day out. However, one thing I have always been and that is a doer, and a person who has learned to observe, watch, listen for the signs and symbols all about, in what is said and not said, in what they do and don't do, how things are done, and how things are not done and then take action. I listen for the tone, inflection and choice of words and I can tell you this straight from my own horror story, things out there are a mess, a big mess and until we get back to fundamentals that mess can only grow bigger.
Yes until we accept and fix responsibility, demand quality, expect what we want, provide the tools to get the job done, set time lines that are real and not unattainable and instill character back into all we do along with the related aspects and values, we will continue our ineptness and that's a fact Jack, as the movie line goes. Take it or leave it, your choice.
Yes believe what you want but the truth is the truth. If you do not recognize this all about, you are most likely part of it. Yes and we deserve what we have and what we got because we like them. As for me, I will try harder not to get upset knowing that they cannot help themselves. I've seen it too many times in my life, the inflated ego's, pride, arrogance, position which produced nada. They are a product of the times and they have been indoctrinated into mediocrity as acceptable and materialism as success. It is what it is, like it or not and as a good friend said, why get upset, you can't fix it, it has always been that way and it always will be because as he sees it, it is always the other guy.
So Lord Jesus what can I say. Do you really know what kind of a job you have waiting for you when you return? Yes, I know you are God and can do all things but boy I sure don't envy what your riding into. I thought that just perhaps we could make it a little better before you came back and I'm sorry we are all so woefully inept at doing what is right. Anyway, hurry home soon, we could really use you. Love, us inept and bovine types.
