The Issues are Not Just America’s.

One grows weary of seeing the same things all about with no real changes. The world goes on day in and day out and the only interruption is a disaster, a tragedy, the unusual. Otherwise nothing different, wars, death, financial ruin, families breaking up, etc, etc, etc. The obvious not so obvious to most as they go through the same mundane tasks of life. The ritual of life as I call it. So when we take time to just sit back and look at the problems facing America and the world today we see very clearly the issues are not just America's.

Why do I say that. Well as stated before, it is Gods truth that America has given of her wealth, her sons and daughters blood and sacrifice freely for the sake of this world and of all peoples. We have been there for the tragedies, the wars, the natural disasters, the famines, the sickness and displaced, the abused and yet we are a hated nation in many a persons eye. The line spoken decades ago to define us was one of the ugly American. Well we were hated by many for what we had. We had it all. Yes we had wealth, prosperity, jobs, and all that anyone could hope for in life, then.

However, all that has changed in the last few decades. In my opinion the old hatreds grew and prospered via our extension of our "economic" way of life and our ideology and beliefs via Globalism. How could we be a nation of law and God and yet so perverse? Believe me it is not because America was and is any different. Look at child labor and slavery, womans rights, etc. It was because we are held, like anyone else in positions of power, to a higher standard. Is not the judge, the lawyer, the teacher, the minister expected to be more then just who they profess to be by example and living what they profess they believe in?

So what has happened with Globalism? In my opinion through the greedy and exploiters we are now not only flaunting our way of life, beliefs and systems we were taking over their nations and like we have here, dismantling their way of life. Yes piece by piece. We are in my opinion have been seen as exploiting for our own financial interests their nation. To them, like the Colonial Nations of Europe did before us, we disguise it under the umbrella of freedom and democracy. We may not see it as that but do they? The real question being while they profess to want it and actually covet what we have, do they really? We are back once again to professing. It even goes as far as can they even handle it? Is not Iraq an example of such? Throughout the world American companies are taking over their well known major companies while using their name. These companies are just a shell of who they were. They formed large conglomerates displacing workers here and there while giving new low wage jobs to others in other nations.

So we are our own worst enemies because our leaders and yes we who elect them, support them and like what they do have spread our ideology the world over. Yes and to people who really did not want it. Many of them see the destruction of the family unit and all that does to society. The fleeing from religion and its values being replaced by a "works for me" philosophy. The elimination of ethics and morals with ethical relativity and the theory of selective application which means you do what you want for who you want and damn the rest. The elimination of jobs, the American dream of a home and all that America once stood for, the materialism they now see and they no longer seek or see America as the purveyor of all that is good.

So in my opinion we have brought it all upon ourselves in varied ways. Can we consider many Americans of all walks of life as good. Well certainly when disaster strikes we see the unity of all Americans and mostly from the average, the poor the middle class yes and even some leadership and yes the haves. Do we give as a nation to many causes, most certainly. No one out gives Americans. Do We the People have good intentions to all peoples while we have no qualms about turning our wrath upon our enemies, even while showing them mercy, the answer is yes. We prefer peace and expect nothing short of victory in war.

So where do we fail? The answer is written in every church, synagogue, mosque or religious body all over this land and for that matter the world. It is not in the profession for anyone can profess anything. No, it is not in the rituals. It is not in attending. No it is in our works, what we do and what we fail to do. The cornerstone of all religions is LOVE, which is followed by the works of mercy, compassion, caring, decency and not just the talk of such. The great warriors of history of any faith practiced the code of chivalry, honor and mercy, compassion even unto their enemies. How dare we call ourselves what we do when so much is wrong? How can we say we are good and decent and do that, or not do what can stop that which harms, hurts, destroys, hates? How do we spew hatred, vengeance, revenge and stir up all sorts of evil and all the while say we serve a God of LOVE? Some say sadly it starts with ethics I say ethics can never exist without LOVE. Love is the foundation and cornerstone of all else.

No America is hated my friends not because of all the good it does but as the most powerful nation this world has ever known and in my opinion for what is has failed to do. However, I say this to the world as well because our major faiths are worldwide and not just sequestered within these borders. It goes out to people everywhere who hate, kill, steal, pillage, take, plunder, exploit for the sake of themselves, their agenda, their goal, their beliefs. It is time we placed the simple things of life first and our priorities in that regard will all fall back into line. It is the family unit and love that drives it all. Do those who are educated and intelligent in the world and their systems understand this? Sadly in my opinion it shows not in their works or theories. You may have that degree, you may have studied under the most well known professors and teachers, but that only means you are educated. Intelligent, logical, well that may be an entirely different question.

Albert Einstein once said when asked about a belief in God and just before Einstein died and to paraphrase, that he believed in the brotherhood of man and the uniqueness of the individual. He basically related to his belief of their being no proof because our human minds can only understand what it can prove. Perhaps those who question God need to read things like "What Life Means to Einstein, by George Sylvestor Viereck, Saturday Evening Post Oct 26, 1929., "it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being, toward God"? Of course I can offer more but that is another article of itself. In essence he believd in what we refer to as God in another perspective but it does not imply he did not believe.

So if we as humans and professors and believers in God understand our God is a God of LOVE then why do we not do His works? Perhaps just perhaps, when we do we there will be no need any longer for hate? The issues are not just America's. Make for real change in this world sow LOVE! It seems to me this was reinforced by the Prophet Mohammed [may peace be upon him] when he gave his PBUH or last sermon. Was it not given by Christ [Blessed by His Name] to His followers? It seems that we all can interpret what we like for any situation but the foundation, the cornerstone of all these faiths is LOVE.

How much better if we can go to each other in LOVE then with a spear?
