Yes the election is really over. It's a fact if you care to look. Oh you mean the rallies are still going on. Fools gold I call it. Why do I say that, well short of who gets the Democratic nominationin my opinion everything will remain exactly as it is. That's right, everything but for perhaps a small bones here or there that fit their agenda, like Universal Health Care. Yes that Americans who do not have the means to pay for will be required to pay for.
By their own mouth the same old crowd in Washington, the same tired ways. Yes all we need is to figure out is who will turn out the most voters for their ideal candidate. That said Congress, well why even have an election? It is a total waste of time and money. Just let them stay there until they want to retire or get another high paying job.
It seems that the press is reporting Hillary Clinton having the woman and a large portion of the older democratic vote but surprisingly she also has the less educated younger and union worker votes. In other words the Blue collar crowd. Obama is wrapped up with a very large percentage of Black voters and the college indoctrinated, idealistic. Next election who knows if there even will any college crowd to consider with the proposed cut backs. Yes and we need to educate our citizens so we can import Indians to do the good work, Mecicans to do the cheap labor and us average Americans can do the rest. Yes if we qualify and you know how hard that is going to be. If we throw McCain in we see his entire support is the haves and the patriotic WW2 group. Rhetorically do issues really matter or is it all about Race, Gender and a War hero, period and yes The Easter Bunny can't be left out. Yes we seem to like the package and will do just about anything for the exterior. In my opinion it is and it doesn't take much to see the truth in that opinion.
So therein lies the election for President. Forget about change we have our answer as far as that office goes. Now if we move along to Congress we see the same standard bearers who have been their for decades. Yes the same tired bunch these candidates always allude to. There is just one thing wrong, they are going no where. They will be re elected by the same group that always elects them, state, by state, by state while they join the 80% who don't think they are doing a good job and profess or ask, who voted for them?
So for all its hoopla the election is really over and get this you hopeful, nothing has changed. Just why many can't understand this is why the elite in power think we are the Bovine Americans. So lets go down the list of possible and realistic deliverables for the next four years, the sure fires for the next President and Congress. You doubt it well lets hope you are right. I won't take that bet and I sususpect the Vegas odds makers won't either. So here are my opinions and projections. hey I'm sure I left a few out, you add them in.
1- More Free Trade and more goodbye America where are you? A sure bet.
2- Comprehensive Immigration Reform, a guarantee. Just waiting for the final push.
3- SPP and The North American Union which the three leaders of the US, Canada and Mexico are currently meeting to discuss. President Bush, always worried about other nations citizens stated "If we do away with NAFTA there are going to be lot of Mexicans out of work, etc". Cough, Cough, what does our leader think about Americans being out of work? Senator McCain, well no doubt a true war hero and American. However, he mimic's the president and has no problem with free trade and actually thinks "Free Trade will solve our problems" as reported by the AP. It would be nice if he added Fair Trade. That alone says enough, Moo. However when he completes the sentence with "our inability to adjust to a new world economy". Yes he tells that to the people who had their jobs shipped offshore along with their livelihood. Trust me, yea right.
4- Iraq will continue to remain an issue for years. Why, have you seen the latest in military assignments?
5- Iran will raise its ugly head and we just might have an issue there. I wouldn't bet against it. They disrupt the Free Market agenda.
6- Fuel prices will continue going up as use goes down It never was about economics supply and demand.
7- Usurious interest will continue to be a fact of life. Quite frankly in my opinion it speaks to their moral character and the character of a nation that allows it to be and continue.
8- More average Americans will fall on hard times. Do I have to say anymore. Hello world, you are next.
9- Food prices continue to rise due to speculation and demand on fuel needs by these emerging markets and even with an estimated 100 million in the world starving. Tell me this isn't about the haves and have nots?
10- Foreclosures for average Americans will continue until they weed the market of all these less then reasonable types, as they say. You know the not well intentioned which I equate to common folk who got shafted. Have we forgotten what this does to communities, schools, children, families? Does it matter? Yes and one simple thing to think about, fuel for those school buses. Oh, why did I have to bring that up? I won't mention school lunches because food prices are soaring. How much extra mom to get your child to school? That is if there is a school to get them to?
10- Bailouts for Big Business will remain. What can one say, their works go before them and do really expect differently?
11- American jobs, well as they have all said "they ain't coming back", "they are gone". Hey just accept what you want.
So just what does it take? I guess people like me have to write in a new language or just understand no one really gives a damn. That we are the minority in more ways then one. Perhaps in the Ox or Cattle language of MOO and yes when the cows hear they will follow? Yes and the Oxen plow all day for a little hay. So now we can wonder just who will get the Democratic bounce so we can get down to the big two. Well for you blacks and idealistic my bet is on Hillary if she swings a couple of more Big Blue collar MOO states. I will admit that is a long shot. Also, in my opinion she is the darling of the elite and there is plenty of time for Obama. Good seasoning as they say. McCain well he is just what he is in my opinion a warrior. As the flag blows so does he. Fly a jet, bomb, no problem, run a government ok, does he really need to or will someone for him or for that matter any of them?
So now that elections are over can you please pass me a burger and by the way I have stopped drinking beer, grain has become too costly and oh yes, skip the bun, too expensive and yes make mine a soy burger, a little dry but still less costly then meat. Also, I stopped ordering Pizza and Chinese food, too costly.
So think this election isn't over? Think not, then just stop, listen, observe to what is said and not said, what is done and not done, yes the signs and symbols are all about if one looks for them. Yes you blue collar, average Americans you evidently are happy reaping what you sow. So what can one say but enjoy it. You see I would rather be wrong and be happy. Unfortunately, the word of this century, in my opinion I don't see that happening.
