How Blindly We Search.

As we enter this Holy season of Easter we are still blindly searching and long for peace among men when we already know the answer. So why is it we never seem to find it? That we always fall short? Is not the UN a good example of mans ineptness? That is not to say that they do not do some really important things but that one element that we all "say" or "profess" we want, peace, forever alludes us.

Of course many people throughout the world long for peace. To be able to walk freely all about this world and see its beauty and cultures and peoples without fear would really be exciting. Many say peace will come if, or peace will come when, but never see the answer which is right before them. To have peace is wonderful and to be able to raise our families without fear of death, injury, harm exploitation, servitude. Yet, the forces of evil, who even in their own mind, see themselves ironically as good, bring death, destruction, hardship, exploitation and trouble even upon those they profess to love and serve. The evil are not those of any religion or nation, the evil is the individual who brings those negatives about.

So peace is a state of humbleness, tranquility, serenity and yes love. It is a spiritual state of calmness and awareness of good that all can experience. That is can be experienced if allowed to grow within us. Some search for it by withdrawing from the world and some amongst the multitudes. Some find it and some never find it. Yet it is there for all if they open their senses and yes literally their spirit to it. It is as I like to say all about in the signs and symbols of the spirit. It is truly to walk in humbleness and meekness for they shall inherit the earth,

It behooves us that when we do find it we pass it to others as part of our beliefs and we show it in our works and our interactions. Certainly if we love those works come across to another in many diverse ways, direct and indirect, to those we know and to those we never even know exist simply by works of love, caring, for the common good of all people. Do we need a TV show Extreme Make Over to demonstrate that which we profess or motivate us to do such? Frankly, there are many who show this love every single day. However, they in my opinion are the minority, the few. Yet that love is in all of us buried until needed like 911 or Katrina or some other tragedy. How sad we bury it for the things of this world. So, if our works are the opposite of love, that too shows. It is as simple as that. Where there is hate those attributes of love are not to be found.

Now I for one am not surprised by the turmoil that is all about. Has it not been the same since Cain and Able? Do not billions profess to believe and follow a God of LOVE yet seek the god of this world? One must ask if God kills what he created or allows His creation to be killed? Certainly we know there is death which comes at the hands of others. This by accident or by choice directly or indirectly by an individual or many by many varied ways. While we all die it should never be at the hands of evil. Yet evil is in the world and is everywhere.

So how can this be, this world of hate, exploitation. death and every other evil and yet so starkly the opposite as well? Is it the wages of sin that brings this down upon us all, or is it that many are not who theyprofess to be and in that it is the same? You shall know them by their works is a very profound statement and evidently true. Many show the outward appearance of good, but beware the Wolf in Sheep's clothing. They are called holy men or leaders but they do not what is good but what serves themselves.

So we must look at this from what God states, at least as believers of many faiths understand. First He says He will return one day in the future and usher in a new world / kingdom and with it bring peace. He also says many are created for, get this, the wrath . How can a God of love also make people for the wrath? Well he is quite explicit about that and He explains why. If interested search it is there for those who seek.

So when we speak about peace in the Middle East we know that there will never, yes never be peace until and as we as believers all know when and what that peace is? Now certainly secular people and unbelievers do not buy into this belief and that is their choice. Life is all about choice, right or wrong. So leaving them out of the equaion becuase they also are part of prophesy the fact is that there are two major beliefs of billions of believers and in the middle, a few million Jews. Now Jesus, my Lord, is only recognized as Lord by one of those groups so there in lies the separation. However, all believe their "Savior" will return one day. Can we all live in peace, certainly. That is if we do what is the requirement of He we profess, love. That isn't going to happen because it is not in the plan or Word of any of these three major religions.

So I give you one word that above all other things will be the separator - Jerusalem. Yes, everything else can be resolved except that. Keeping in mind that also will be " supposedly" resolved by man and peace will come. Yes note supposedly.

You see regardless we will all submit one day and bow and not by the works of any man. So to glorify God we must go through that which he has already ordained. We can say it over and over and over and profess it, shout it, demand it but as believers know it will never be until all that He has spoken to comes to fruition. Now the fact that there will be a peace the entire world embraces and says "see I told you so" we all know will be. Yet, as I just stated that is not "the peace" many will expect.

The answers my friends are written in the signs and symbols all about you. What they and we do and fail to do. Who your real God is and where your heart lies is the answer to that. So be you Muslim, Christian, Jew or Buddhist, etc, if you profess God and you do that which your God requires of you, love, humbleness, peace, compassion and mercy then it behooves you to do that which will bring it about and never stop trying. Yet, the answer or end does not lye with man. That is the path where true peace will be found.

hi robert, thank you for sharing your ideas. peace alludes all who come from a place of deceit. those who can be honest, are then hurt by those who can't. very unfortunate. however, many can begin with a few, so i try to be at peace, and send that out into the world. peace out man, best regards, sue
