Corporate America, Anonymous and Aloof.

Have you ever tried to get through to one of these large Corporate giants? You know the ones you just may be fed up with their supposed "customer service". No one has an answer and when you get one it is usually wrong and when they mess up it is pay anyway. Do you know what I am talking to or about?
It used to be you could call right into the Presidents Office and get someone to help. Now there are still a few like that left but just a few, a rare breed. Now since everything has been consolidated, A don't talk to B, B doesn't have the answers so you call C, C don't know who you are so they send your to D and D sends you to collections who says pay the bill. You hang up and start all over again. Does this sound familiar? That along with your ID that is already in India and everywhere around the Globe and illegal workers have stolen and use and duplicate you have to repeat multiple times with each person who gets on the phone- your name, your address, your social security number, your birthday, your mothers maiden name, ok how may I help you? Oh, sorry I don't handle that, call this number. Yes, who's on first all over again. Yes and even as a fact you can't even prove with your birth certificate whom you are any longer. Another totally different article.
Now here comes the interesting part of the equation. They pay them so low many workers no longer have any pride nor care nor concern about doing a good job. That is in my opinion for the most part. Unless, of course and in my opinion you are retired working part time to keep busy and then for the most part you are not all there anyway when it comes to what is going on. So statistics say well over 50% of employed people hate their job or some aspect of it and wish they had another. Some just role with the punches and find it isn't any greener anywhere else. The others like in the book "Gimpel the Fool", a well know children's story about a person who shows up for work everyday only to find he is the only one there and all others have left long ago, just continue to work as hard as they can regardless of how they are treated, they are, like the story says.
So in my opinion what we have is a ship that continues to sail with no one at the helm and not one knows who is steering and no one really cares where it is going as long as the bottom line is up and those at the top do not get disturbed and there is a pay check at the end of the week. No one gives a damn.
So what brought this all about? As if I haven't has my fair share of negatives from business and government. You know I have come to learn that for the most part many do not give a damn. They really don't. Perhaps I should just go along with it like everyone else and accept it for what it is. So, here I am trying to track a major payment to my mortgage. It was supposed to be posted, I thought when they handed me the receipt, but they did tell me since it was Saturday it would be posted Monday, because they were already on a next day teller sign on. That is at 10:30 AM in the morning. Ok, it should be there for you Tuesday morning they said. Give it a day, why who knows but OK. One starts to think, have they heard about computers and data transfer? I guess not. Miss your payment though and your phone starts sounding a minute later. Ok, Tuesday no deposit. However, after spending an inordinate amount of time they transfer me to someone who claims to be in the Presidents Office and they will research it and definitely get back to me. Wednesday, no deposit, no call so I call and repeat the process. Hey they can float and hold your money as long as they want to. They have it and you have to wait.
Ok, put me through to Mrs. so and so in the Presidents office. We can't do that sir, no way. What do you mean I talked to someone Tuesday, they put me through. No way, we do not have that capability. What about Mrs. So and So. No such person. She can be anywhere or doesn't exist. You mean they lied to me? They must not go to church or follow the Golden rule.[ can you believe that there are persons like this] We suggest you call back Thursday it should be there. Well you guessed it Thursday, not there. What is the Corporate telephone number. We do not have it you must write. What is their address. 9_ _ e_ _____ Richmond Va.
Ok I do a search. Got a phone number and call and get a loud noise in my ear. Boy does that say it all doesn't it? Ok, try again with another number. This number has been disconnected. Ok, try the post office. Ok no such address they suggest I call the bank back. Now this is the post office mind you and there is a building there. I guess its security? Call the bank back and they say, we'll put a search on it. It may take a week.
So I get my dander up and I call to switch me to the branch office. The process repeats all over again. Now the good part is I have a receipt, the bad part is I don't have my money showing anywhere. Now I would like to do things with that money. Sorry sir, you will have to wait until we can clear it up. Hey, how long does the world have? Yes, my friends Birds of a Feather do flock and nest together and they nest all over this country and world.
So what is the gist of all this? If our businesses are this far out of control then how are these politicians going to bring change to something they have no control over? Now this is just one company out of thousands who operate like this daily. The snowball keeps rolling downhill collecting profits along the way and growing bigger and fatter until, yes, until it hits a tree and then it all fragments, shatters, crumbles. Now it has hit that tree and the pieces are flying everywhere. So who do you think gets to clean it all up? Yes, We the People get to pay for their mess and mistakes.
So my fellow average Americans, you who like these Presidential Candidates, that are saying they are going to bring about change, a suggestion, don't flock and nest with the likes of these types? Do you really think if the wealthy lost 99% of all they had they still wouldn't be way richer then the rest of us? So when they say they are going to bring change and you believe that, the next time you get your bill and you dispute it, or call customer service and get no service, or are told just pay or else, or the ever present "unfortunately", think again about what I am saying, change, yea, right! Don't look for it from this bunch who in my opinion are the co- authors of it all by nature of their deeds and works.Yes, Birds of a feather all do flock and nest together, they eat, sleep and they evacuate all of what they consume and believe me what they pass along we all know too well.
PS: Friday morning - no deposit and "we're working on it" It may take a few more days or so". Ok, I don't have a few more days or so, Saturday will be one week and you still don't have my deposit. It hasn't cleared the bank because I checked, something you wouldn't even do, I had to give them mind you all the information over again because they couldn't find it and can't find where it went and who has it if anyone at all. So why not give me a "free" advance so I can continue to do my business and not have penalties for non payment while you look for it? "Oh, we can't do that sir, we have to follow procedure". What procedure, by the looks of this you have none. Ok, here is a procedure, call the head of that division out on the Golf course or at breakfast, you know the one who professes to be in charge of the department who processes these items, or whomever I really do not care and get something done? Are you ready for this you who know my writings - "unfortunately" [yes there it is again], "we have no way of doing that." Evidently no one does and as they say in the movie and they repreated to me, Frankly Scarlet I don't give a Damn".
