The Condition of All Who Are Part of the Family of Man.

Yes, the condition of all mankind  is evidently not a hot topic with people and one can understand why. We really don't like to be convicted and since we all know we are prone to committ sin why talk about it. Yes, the sin that lies within all mankind goes from the very minor, if there is such a thing as minor sin, to the very gross or evil of sins. There is a price to pay for any sin. Yet, many never stop to contemplate they even sin at all. We run too and from each and every day busy with life and never give a thought to those so called minor sins. We gossip, tell someone else’s secrets, we curse, blaspheme, ridicule, talk about, lie, omit, never complete the entire story, spread misconception and every other aspect of sin in the word. We do not even consider doubt, fear, anxiety, self pity and a lack of self esteem which are all sins we rarely give a thought to and the list goes on and on. Omissions, a slight, to ignore, neglect, not fulfill your responsibilities etc, etc, etc.

Yes and little do we even think about sins of thought. Lusting after someone, planning or wishing evil, fixation on that which is evil, conniving and scheming and everything our minds can conjure up. Yes we never give them one thought in the slightest that we even committed them until perhaps later in a moment of reflection and for many that is rare indeed.

Then of course there are the sins of deed. This is where you abuse, exploit, hurt, steal, use, destroy, kill, maim and totally take all of the physical, earthly and spiritual being of another for your own greed, lust, self satisfaction, desires, ambition, covetousness, pride, arrogance, decadence and on and on concerning the character, morals and state of a person.

So how often do we stop to think about any of this that man might do as we walk through life? How often do we acknowledge it before God and confess these sins and yet even when we do we repeat them over and over and over again and then  call ourselves "Born Again" or believers and  profess we follow Him? How many never stop to think but consider themselves pious or holy because they go to church, are of the church or simply are above sinning, who me, "I never sin, what sins do I do"? Think about that one for a second and I am sure it will come to you.

As I look at our politicians, those who are business owners, run corporations, our bosses and superiors and are in high places of every kind and the lowly and poor of this world as well we must not forget that we all fall short.
So if we are who we profess Him it is our duty, to forgive, show mercy and ask for mercy, that is to pray for others even those that hurt us in thought, word or deed, directly or indirectly, known or unknown by their thoughts, words and deeds.  We do not have to accept, like or not speak to them about that which they do but we are to forgive them.

So it all comes down to each and every one of us individually. It is not the number of payers you say, although that cannot hurt, or what prayers you say, or what acts you perform, it is what resides in your heart. Why you say those prayers, how sincere you are, and what deeds follow that are pure and of the heart.

So while all men sin and fall short it is by their deeds and works we shall all know them. We know and recognize them not in what they say but by the laws they write, by the leadership they provide, by the compassion and mercy they show, by the considerations and love of all that they demonstrate towards their fellow man. Yes and not by their wealth, position, power or any other earthly position. Yes, we shall know them and we should avoid them, remove them and have no part of them,  yet we should pray for them.

So I a sinner now ask that during this holiday season and really throughout the year, because I especially must acknowledge that at times I have failed to recognize what I have just written to, the weaknesses of us all, that we must forgive all men, for as Jesus said "Father forgive them they know not what they do". Yes, true, some men know their actions and why they do them, they just do not recognize the consequences and therefore they do not know what they do. So have mercy upon them all Lord, and certainly upon me and my loved ones as well, in your name I pray, Amen!
