They Should Hang Their Head In Shame.

Yes, just an opinion based on experience and reality. No misrepresentations, distortion, lies or misdirection. Just the facts as Sergeant Joe Friday used to say. Why do I make this statement? Well some may say it is judgment. Well it is not, it is just opinion and one formed by personal experience and first hand incidents.

Now I do not feel it is unreasonable for a person in a leadership capacity to not know all the workings of a large business, church organization and certainly the government. However, I do believe that any position one undertakes no matter what that position may be requires accepting responsibility. A word from the past that in my opinion has no real meaning in todays world. However, if youre going to place a sign on your desk, the buck stops here then you better become informative. If you want to call yourself a leader and grab a title and call yourself a leader then you really can't say you don;t know, find out!

Now the deeds are what demonstrate any persons real worth. How those deeds impact others financially, physically, emotionally, mentally, directly or indirectly. They impact individuals, families, societies, nations. That is demonstrated in policy, law, procedure, culture and as I stated, in their works. It shows in attitude and the outward signs and symbols of voice, body language tone and inflection, interest or impatience. It shows on how you carry yourself, what you consider important and what you covet in material and other things. It shows in who you support, belong to and show others.

So this applies to us all, yet for the most part it really impacts those of wealth and power or leadership. The moneymakers who turn the wheels of the economies, the large corporations run by people whose only concern is the bottom line and not how it is achieved. Yes,as I stated it is about the government and the multitude of people they impact. Yes, it is about those laws they say that are in place to protect the consumer and citizens which are facades, empty shells, the Easter Bunny. Yes, it is also about those toothless agencies that suck up Tax Payer money but have no authority and produce little to nothing except costing money. It is even about policies and procedures that are just there for legal purposes and to be used only when necessary. It is about exploitation and At Will employment. Basically it is about everything that is negative.

So here is another real life example. A person out of work was directed by a national government agency to call a specific number for help with their local electric bill. That agency sent them to the power company, who could offer nothing but pay by or the power goes off. That power company then said have you tried these people and sent them to the people who give the grants. They sent them back to another department within the local government. That department informed them call at 10AM sharp on the first of the month, do not leave a voice mail message. try to get through to a person. They receive 625 calls in a one hour span. If you dont get through you have to wait a month and try again. There is no list it is first come first served. They also tell you to call this church, that charity and more of the same. So, do they have these agencies in place, yes. Do they hand out money, yes. Is the problem bigger then what they know or they care to know? In my opinion, yes. You can take it from there and go on and on. Yet when it comes to specific situations I wont discuss, you can bet your last dollar the money is there, enough said.

Now no one is entitled to this. It is something that is there to help and no one can be ungrateful. However, that being said we should not be in this mess and getting larger. What it boils down is providing jobs. Decent long term, good paying jobs and training to get people employed. Not giving these jobs away to foreigners along with our national security. Not bringing in more low wage cheap labor. That umbrella should not be used to the extent it is being used today. Shame is the only answer, sin all that it can be called. Rhetorically one has to ask how can one support them unless they are of the same ilk?

If they want to change and help average Americans then do it now and stop all your cheap talk and start to do it! They are in office so no more excuses, period!

So the answer my friend lies in the hearts of all people. It lies within their very being. Not in what they say but in what they do. Frankly, these people who I am referring to continue to smile, shake hands and spread their deceit and brag. They are the wolves in sheeps clothing we are warned about. Yes, they should hang their head in shame but that will never happen. Their pride, which in their opinion they consider themselves the cats meow, the best of the best, the ultimate, yes, the answer to everything, they are for all this world has to offer and this world is where their heart surely lies.

So who am I, actually no one? Just another average person who has and is impacted by these types of people. One who has and does experience their ineffectiveness, their works, and their deeds each and every day. One who has to deal with their decisions, ideology, greed, injustice and ineptness? Sorry, that opinion comes from incident after incident through out a lifetime of looking at the truth of the things that impacted me and others I know. You certainly may be more fortunate then I, however, I happen to believe there are more wearing my shoes then people know.

Yes, it has and will be the same throughout history and into the future. It has never been any different and no matter what people may say about positive thinking, faith, change or anything else it just has never been nor will it ever be, that is until and I will leave you with that last thought.
