Do You Think the Congresses Proposed Legislation Concerning Home Foreclosure Is To Protect Average People or Investors?

I've written some pretty strong articles this year with the intent to raise awareness of the situation for Average Americans and the poor in this country. Frankly, I know thousands have read them but what they have done with it is still a question I wonder about. Rhetorically, just how do we see these same people who meet these candidates running for President in Iowa, Vermont and the like with smiling faces and saying they are considering voting for them? Just how could 80% of America feel Congress and our President is doing such a bad job but yet these people turn out for their rallies as if something wonderful or amazing is all of a sudden going to happen when they get elected? Last night there was a history show on the 300 Spartans. To sell the idea of growing the Greek Navy the General [Politician] lied to convince the masses they needed ships. The announcer then adds it is what politicians do. So just what does this say about these people who rush out to meet these candidates as if they were the second coming? Are they the ones who have, don't care what is going on because they are lifelong member of either party, or just plain ignorant of the impact to millions and millions of Americans, their fellow citizens? Why, is it these same candidates who ARE NOW IN OFFICE can't do what they say they are going to, NOW? Why do we have to wait for them to be President? The answer lies right before you in their deeds. It is just their ideology and beliefs that many Americans disagree with.
Yes, just go right down the list of every Presidential candidate and legislator and check his or her record. They even brag about being free market people and they put their money where their mouth is. Too bad in my opinion they don't do that for average Americans. They do cozy on up to India, China and Mexico and South America and those other cheap emerging markets though. yes and you won't find them these days talking out loud about it. It is election time you know.
Go right down the line and just see what they have voted for and what you don't even know already exists in law. Free trade that favors them and foreign nations at our expense. In, my opinion credit card abuse that is beyond sin and exploitation and the local Loan Shark as they used to call them is a saint compared to them.
So to see just how bad things really are this week I decided to do an investigation concerning my home. You know that little mans dream, his nest egg for his children, what he intends to leave them. So I decided to ask a few local realtors for a market analysis on my $240,000 bank appraised home of not even a year ago. Now that was not sale price that was appraised price. I was told I'd most likely have to sell for $100,000 less then that. Tell that to my bank that is stuck with the amount they lent to me, which is way over that. I guess they better pray I stay.
As we all know the market is worse then the pit. Many marginal realtors have left the business. That leaves the real dealers. I have to say the others never even bothered to call back. Not with 5000 homes or more on the market locally, would you? You see sadly and in my opinion a realtor to survive will sell it for what they can to get their commission and many will turnaround and thank them for the ride. That is how bad it is for people. Yes, in my opinion just like the agents and financial people who made the killing on the fast sales, flipping houses and Arms and mortgage deals, points, points, points, they now want to make it again and this time off of your blood, sweat and tears only selling. Of course they will be willing to buy it at that low price or even lower. They always seem to have someone waiting in the wings, don't they? But the good news is that these ever thinking money makers know just how to get your short sale processed through your same bank. You would think why can't your friendly banker help, after all they get all the write offs, don't they? The fact is like car dealers, done deal, go away and pay on time.
A simple suggestion, if you think you are sitting on something that is worth a hell of a lot more then what it really might be I recommend you do your homework and get a real estate appraisal and fast. Yes, you just better see what your nest egg is worth in this more then depressed market called America.
So consider the billions of dollars pumped into the market in the last month to shore it up and we do mean billions. Do you think that was for you? Strange they can come up with these numbers when they need to but when they have to give health care to children they are concerned about the money. Social security we need to evidently privatize because they are worried about money and you still want to vote for them?
Now we hear these international corporate giants are worried over Christmas sales. Why even have a Christmas, with the nations new ethnic and religious makup many want it done away with. Yet, Wal-Mart is moving fast to lower prices on all of those foreign made goods they sell. Could it be that Americans are just not buying at their store anymore? I suspect there are two reasons for that. Number one a lack of money, as they themselves stated by the signs and symbols of the day, buying is around the first of the month and then dead, just like the retirement people living off of their Social Security. The second being people are making a point, not buying and going elsewhere. They just don't seem to recognize it as yet because some people who have don't care and don't shop there anyway. Just like the car dealer, pick the color and here is the check. Wow only $35,600, what a deal. Do you really think these people worry about a $500.00 rebate? Ok, I forgot they count every single penny and you better not short them or else.
Yes, it is really about time we average people wake up and understand that we only have two real weapons, the vote and whatever money we have, or what little we have. The rich really do not need you nor care about us; it is as simple as that. They only need us to fight the wars and fill their coffers.
So you can only motivate them where they will accept your message and that is in their Wallet and Profits.
No, not an email or letter or call although that helps quite a bit. Yes it is all about that 73 billion in one year and 32 billion in three months which is not enough PROFIT for them and that is only one industry. After all they have to split that all among the shareholders and we all understand how difficult and trying that must be. I didn't even through in the Gas companies.
So go ahead and believe it and vote for these same ones. It says it all about America today. Yes, is speaks to what is in my opinion the ones ruining your childrens future, that is if your children and ours if they even have one anymore?
Yes, continue to join that 20% who have it all, or, if youre just an average or poor family
Take charge for change!
Yes, that is right. Spend your money on only what is necessary, which is all any of us can do anymore. Take your holidays and spend that money wisely, not on useless material items that do nothing to enhance us but enhance foreign powers, but on a gift of meaning and love and not one that does absolutely nothing for a person. If they are young adults struggling why not pay their light bill or mortgage for a month, buy food or repair their car, buy them what they need to raise their kids. Buy practical items and few toys, which are made in China and covered in lead anyway. Yes, made in China and sold under an ALL AMERICAN NAME, in my opinion the height of hypocrisy! Do something useful not for vanity and selfishness and share your dollars with others for purposes that help them. A nice toy will do and one the kids will appreciate having. Not 20 or more left strewn about and ready for the garbage before the next day rolls about. So many they don't even aprpeciate it.
So last but most importantly,
Vote for the person running against the incumbent and vote the incumbents all out.
The incumbent is the one holding office. Why, can we do any worse then what we have already? Also, we send a very clear and distinct message to these super big shots, if you don't take care of America first, bye, bye you go! Yes it will impact us all but think about it, just how worse can it get for you? You see the bottom line, like they like to say, is that they have to take action on or they go down a lot harder then we do.
So if you really think the Congresses proposed legislation concerning home foreclosure is to protect average people, then come on down to Florida, I have a piece of land you might like to buy cheap. It certainly will be passed under that guise and it may help a few but read between the lines. It has gone beyond the point of even salvaging the situation. No, they are making these moves to stop the death of the Golden Goose. Let's hope they pump enough into the goose to make a difference for all Americans.

Robert, thank-you for your clear view of some of things that are going on in our country. As you know, the ideologies and interests of the two major parties are no different. A third party can't help either, more of the same. So, like I have stated in my other articles the only chance we got is to use our only weapons, our vote and our wallets. Vote every incumbent out, period, no exceptions. That will send a clear message to those remaining and those getting elected to serve America first or good bye! I see that as our last hope.
