Why Jesus and Jesus only!

Billions of people practice their faith each day and week. They go to seminars and pack auditoriums and edifices by the thousands to hear speakers of the secular world and religious who try to tell us how to in effect get it all right. After all of that and the billions spent in time and money the world is still in a mess. They in effect follow the teachings of men.
Now just what does Jesus have to offer that man doesn't or for that matter in my opinion other religions? I won't even dicuss His many miracles or His rising from the dead. No, I will be content to speak the fact that every single other religion this world has will tell you they believe in God. The question that always comes up between us all and as I have stated before, do they believe in THE GOD? Wow, now we have struck home and people will be fuming. Well once again I remind you I am not fostering anything on you nor trying to be disrespectful of your faith. Im just asking a pointed question. You certainly have your choice to agree or disagree and I respect that. Im just espousing my opinion and belief.
Some of the worlds leading religions are still waiting for their Messiah or deliverer even though Christians believe He came and the cornerstone was rejected as it was foretold in prophesy. Jesus fulfilled every Old Testament prophecy concerning the coming of the Messiah. Yet, He was rejected just as the Old Testament claims. Now thats not so hard to understand if one studies the old text. Christians are waiting for His return. In other words He has been here already. In my opinion all will see their Messiah or deliverer coming in the Clouds as lightning flashes from east to west and we will all bow our knee and recognize Him as He we had pierced and as the King of King and Lord of Lords. However, this is yet to be seen but it will certainly settle any and all disagreements once and for all.
Now of course these others religions will reject this. Because no matter what they have their answer and beliefs. Once again free will and choice. Now so many will even go as far as to say there was never ever even a man called Jesus in history? Of course that question is being answered more and more definitively each day. Some need no proof because they accept it all on faith, that which is unseen as do all the major religions.
Needless to say man is torn between many different beliefs with Christians holding that Christ is the Son of God, one person of the Holy Trinity and other faiths believing in one God and some in no God or even many Gods. That is the essence of why man does not get along. The stories and beliefs changing over time. So it has become just who is right or wrong and does it matter? Well to all it certainly does. It tests and tears at the very fabric of what one has believed or been taught. It is a major cause of hatred and war.
Now Christians believe God the Father is one person of the Trinity. That is three persons in one, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God has already stated He is Spirit. In fact the Indians called Him the Great Spirit. I venture to say they had as deep a belief as any in God. So many question and say just how can that be? Well they evidently have no comprehension of God or of His capabilities. They even question the Virgin birth. What does that say about their belief in God? My belief says, Who is like unto God, as Saint Michaels war cry goes? The answer is very simply put, it is none or nothing, no nothing is like God.
Also until God sent His son Jesus, God the Father was the God. Of course the Holy Spirit was always there as was Jesus but Jesus time on earth had not yet arrived. In the creation story did not God state, "let us make man in our image and likeness"? Who were the others God was talking to since us implies very definitely plural?
Now God says, no one comes to the Father except through Jesus . Ok, God said no one comes to the Father except through Jesus. Now I will admit this is the God of my belief. However, if you call yourself a Christian and you must, if you say you believe in God the Father, follow His command and go through Jesus for anything you want. No I pray right to the father and why waste time? Well Ok, but you are not listening nor are you obeying your professed God. Yes, the God who you profess to believe in as a Christian. Well I don't believe in that. Ok, choice once again. Simple and pure.
Now we all know and by my prior writings here are many versions, adaptations and beliefs in the Christian faith. Needless to say there are many in all religions. We as Christians all believe in Jesus Christ and we all for the most part believe in His word although in varied beliefs as to what that Word means. It is just everything in between we bicker over. Can't even find love for each other but we can find what separates us as Christians and certainly from other faiths.
Now this is not to say that good people everywhere, decent, those who love their neighbor and practice acts of charity [love] compassion and good will toward their neighbors regardless of their faith will never attain heaven. Jesus said, "as much as you have done for the least of my children you have done unto me". So, in my opinion as God stated, God will recognize the simplest act of love and compassion. Paul even stated, if I might paraphrase, there are many ways to reach God. Some need signs and symbols and some little to nothing. But they all reach God. However, if you reject Christ outright you are against Him and therefore you are an anti Christ. There is no other definition. You are either for or against. That is the one qualifying difference, the cutting edge, the line in the sand.
Now Jesus came to spread the Gospel of Love. Never will you find hate, war, and destruction in the message of Jesus. He even exhorts us to love our enemies. Jesus therefore is Divine Mercy, total Love, compassion and everything good. He does not say we should war against other non-believers He says we should pray for them, to show compassion and love toward them. To live our life as an example of our faith. Do you see that going on? Common now, be honest. Do we, I think most sadly we do not!
Now that really cuts home doesn't it. Your blood boils, who am I to tell you this? Well I am just a messenger and not any specially appointed one but just another Christian who like you is trying to walk the walk God intended me to. God is actually the one telling us. Yes, my God, but you have the choice to investigate and learn about Him if you desire to?
So what is it that Christians are to do? They are to spread the Word of salvation to the ends of the world and by example. Not by force, underhandedly or deception but through simply sharing the good news. Once this is done and preached to every nation on earth, the end will come. If we are not at that point now in my opinion we are close.
So, if we are what we say we are, what we profess to be and openly state then we are required by God to live this life as His followers. As I asked above and once again because it is so important, do all Christians do this? Well the answer is simple for all religions. Is every one who professes their faith true believers in that faith? Putting into practice that they speak in thought, word and above all else deed? Do Muslims strive for the highest point of attainment love of neighbor? Do they show acts of mercy and kindness to their enemy? The same with other religions of this world, including Christians? Perhaps if we all did this we could experience peace and respect for each other.
Simply, no one can ever follow every aspect or letter of the law. Well Jesus came to set us free of the law and of those burdens. He gave us just two commands, which sum them all up. However, He gave us the answer to the law. He gave us the following which fulfills every aspect of the law, Love thy neighbor as thyself and Love the Lord they God with your whole heart and soul.
So my good friend, fellow man, the real question is do we? Do we do it at home, at work, in government in everything that man is involved in on this earth? Does it show in our law and administration, in our employment and our dealings, in our society? Unfortunately the word of this century and all throughout the past the answer is no.
So the gate is truly narrow as God stated. Yes, and many will stand before Him and say Lord, Lord didn't I and He will say depart from me. God said that, not me. So the warning is very clear and precise. Fear God and His wrath. Love honor and obey Him and do the things of God and he will be with you.
In my opinion if we do this we are all sure to gain the reward he promised for He died for all of us. Simple and pure for all and the only requirements is what I have stated. Accept His free gift and acknowledge Him who died for us all. Pray, do penance and make reparation for sins, yours and others. Extend the true hand of peace in His name to resolve those things that separate us in fairness, justice, understanding and compassion.
So as the prince of peace, not war, hate, greed, exploitation, selfishness, covetousness, lust and every negative that He was never a part of but only good, decent, peace, love, compassion, mercy, forgiveness and everything good I then ask you to consider this man and He as your God. He never commanded anyone to war on His behalf. Frankly He needs no man to fight His battles. So those who brought war and hate and harm were not doing that they professed to be, or what God instructed them to be, so call them whatever you might.
All I ask is that you examine His teachings, His commands and if it is closest to those that you seek in your heart of hearts then investigate and ask Him to reveal Himself to you. He still is sure to do that which He promised to do. Just perhaps he is reaching out to you this day through this poor miserable servant who makes no claim to anything but being a sinner and needing His forgiveness.
So as I see in fact and in opinion, Jesus is the God of humble, the meek and weak and the oppressed. He is the one true God that can save man from Himself. That is why when I examine all else I find that His teachings are the true teachings of the heart and of mans desire. Why, because they are the teachings of God and not man.
That is why I profess Jesus and Jesus only!
May Gods blessings fall upon you and may you receive this message not in conflict but in peace and consideration of He who I trust in.
