“Forgive them, they Know Not What They Do”!

So if you don't want Bible quotes just don't read any further. But if you're interested in stimulating your thought and are an open intellectual type then go ahead and read this. It can't hurt you and it just may be interesting enough to stimulate your thinking.

According tot he Word of God, Jesus on the cross asked His Father to forgive us all for we know not what we do as the last thing He did on earth. Wow, were any more powerful words ever stated. Certainly in my opinion if we throw in all the politicians we have they head the list? Not only did we [mankind] kill the Son of God, who committed no sin but spoke only the truth, we blamed it on someone else. Sounds like we havent lost any of the success skills now have we? Now that was even after we were preordained to do it, since Jesus had to die for all our sins. He had to die for us because quite frankly we are so wretched we cannot do anything for our selves. Now was that just for killing God's only begotten Son or was it for all our sins? Yes, for all and even you Bush haters, yes even George W and even you and I are sinners and cant help ourselves. Every single sinner was offered that sacrifice. Jesus didnt say, OK everyone, except so and so. No, He included everyone and opened the gates of heaven for all. All you have to do is accept it.

Now in Romans 6 chapter 6 to paraphrase, true believers died with Christ on the Cross and subsequently we will rise as He did. These are those who truly believe we have cast aside our sinful body and the wants and desires of the flesh. That is anything that is of this earth or that which pleasures the body. What that means is if you seek the things of this world in all aspects then you are a slave to that which is sin. So the most profound statement is what profit did you get from those sins you are now ashamed? Is this not the key to it all? In effect you reap what you sowed.

So those who seek worldly pleasure, power, prestige, lust and all the things this world offers are in effect slaves to it and to sin. So as we go down the list of the signs and symbols of this day and age we see it most profoundly everywhere one looks or strives to see and comprehend. You see it in our government who practice prejudice, self-interests, selfishness, pride, ego, and all the trappings, which are associated width rich and powerful. We seek it in the poor and the middle class as well who yearn for that the rich has and covets every type of excess.

Yes, it has nothing to do with being a religious or pious person, it has nothing to do with what a person says and it has everything to do with what a person does. Are we not tired of the lies, distortion, corruption, greed and profiteering of our so-called leaders and really of all men? How can anyone say we judge him or her when their deeds speak for themselves? Better yet how can we say we want change and elect the same types? The answer once again we know not what we do. We cant even do as simple a thing as voting for someone else.

Here is a simple every day example. The president the other day urged Congress to go ahead and pass some new trade packs. Now these prior trade pacts had led to the loss of millions of American manufacturing jobs and they have impacted middle and poor American significantly. Well he said pass these bills because he was going to protect American jobs and get this, that he was authorizing the government to set aside money for retooling and training of displaced American workers. This man in my opinion is either a fool, ignorant or has been deceived by those who run his programs. You make your own choice I have my own opinion. His deeds and record speaks for itself. That is his record and deeds that I look at, not judgment just history and fact.

Why, do I say that? Well take the test of tests. Just go to any Job Placement office and see if there is any money, this money he claims is there? Do you think it is? The sorry answer is no. That is unless you fit the ethnic guidelines for priority disbursement. Ill leave it at that so as to not offend those who dont want to know the truth and only have glasses that look one way. I can tell you first hand and so can people close to me if discrimination isnt involved then something else is. If youre not the right race you get zero, nada, nothing, come back next time!

Now I wont talk about immigration because that is the lie of lies. No, and I wont talk about lead paint and products that harm us from toys to food coming from off shore countries and greed. No and I wont talk to you about young Americans out of work with no hope and on and on and on. No, I wont talk about At Will employment and cheap labor, which by the way big corporations have finally fessed up to and are now fighting to continue breaking the law. Why stop exploiting people it is good for the bottom line, very competative. No I wont because in my opinion many have theirs and would prefer to read one of those gossip articles that draw 30,000 readers at a clip.

Yes, many could care less that almost 45 million Americans are finding it hard to make ends meet and are going deeper and deeper into dept and maybe losing their homes. 50 million without health insurance, let them die after all the world is almost 6 billion and we have to get rid of some of them, no? No, I wont talk to you about 6000 houses losing value and for sale in just one town in Florida and thats just one town. The entire state is up for sale lock, stock and barrel and how many more across this land? People owing more then their house is worth. No, why talk about any of it? It is upsetting, right? You see I have over and over again with little to no results. Does anyone really care other then to say isnt that a shame and somebody ought to do something about that? Yes, who, the ones we got?

So when Jesus stated, father forgive them they know not what they do, Id rather think of that as being kind and merciful. You know, like, hey Dad dont forget you cant fix stupid. I could say this is all a scheme but then again that would really be stupid. No, I just think that mankind is fixated on this world and what is of this world. It really matters not about anything spiritually because few to none follow that route and I havent excluded myself. God is Spirit and as I teach the youth that you cant see air and you cant see God but you sure as hell know air is there, so, then why not God? You have more proof for Him then you do air!

So for mankind to really change things for everyone they must do what is written and stated in Romans 6 Chapter 6. Yes, my friends the gate is narrow. Youre asking me to do what? Thats right, chuck off the things of this world! Who me, world leader, rich man, department head, supervisor? Dont you know who I am? Do you know how long it took me to get here and how hard it was and who I passed on the way up?

So my friends remember this when you hear Mr. Bush or any of these politicians or people in power. Yes, when you look for deliverance from them, but don't forget to look for their humbleness, look at their spirituality and then look at their deeds and you will have your answer as to who they are. Remember, it is not what they say but what they do!

Yes, then sit down and pray hard for them. Lift them in prayer that they should do the right thing. That God the Father should convict them and us all. The lesson of Romans 6/6 is one for all who profess to be Christians. It is a message once again of choice and it is a message of hope because God Himself understood how totally incapable we all truly are.That we all fall woefully short. So, ask God to give them mercy as well as us, because we all have to remember each and every day what Our Lord said about us all, Father forgive them for they know not what they do!

Mr. Melaccio, Susan Thom (an author of search warp) had a title to one of her articles go like this: “father forgive them for they know exactly what they do” these politicians and corporate leaders all know they are living by the devil’s rules. Although I personally believe the devil has been defeated quite some time ago they are still playing by his rules. You can call me nuts if you like but I face the truth I don’t try to make the truth fit into a false ideology. I believe people were born to go to heaven or hell. Most people will disagree with me they are the ones who choose to live a lie.

Well David as a matter of fact I never saw Susan's work on that specific article that I recall. I find that many times myself another will write to a similar topic. What it all boils down to is what I have said, each man has their own perspective of what is right or wrong and what they follow or not. God will do the sorting becuase He does know we are prone to fail. They make their own choices. I realize from your prior comments you you don't like to hear quotes from the bible but in truth the road to salvation lies right there. What I write is not my "own" ideology just my perspective and that my good friend is why there are so many religions organizations, one for every view. Best wishes.
