Why Can’t Man, Who Professes God, Humble Himself?

Everywhere one turns man can find his folly at work. From wars, death and killing, to exploitation and greed, to power and wealth and all the other negatives that one could possibly define. Yet, for the billions who reside on this planet a great majority believe in God.
How strange that many can believe in God but do not find what is necessary to be obedient to God, humbleness.
In the many years I have managed, been part of a ministry and have written either poetry or articles I find in most cases man flees from humbleness. That God humbled Himself to wash someone’s feet is what I am speaking to. That the creator of all was willing to humble himself as an example to all that we are all brothers and sisters and equal is perhaps the greatest of many great lessons He gave to us.
Yet, time after time we see man placing themselves above others in many ways. We do this even while professing we believe in God and especially those who profess they are “followers" and believers in Christ.
Yes, as Jesus stated, “how difficult it is for the rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven." Jesus knew that to enter one must humble themselves and become one in the same with all, equal and not above their fellow man.
So as we read the many article about love and war and brotherhood and people forever searching for happiness and a need for counseling and dates, and building relationships, etc, etc, etc. It speaks to the sorrowful shape of mankind in an age of great prosperity and knowledge equally along side sorrow and despair.
Yes, the first act of any great person no matter what their status is to humble themselves. Mother Theresa, who happened to die the same day as Princess Diana, was humble and serving. She won over a pagan nation and is highly thought of and regarded for her humbleness by all men. With no intent to cast dispersion but only to make a point do we see her remembrance except in the halls of God? No we remember though she who was of the world.
So to all men regardless of position, education, wealth, status from great to lowly unless we humble ourselves before the creator of us all and of all things we do not serve Him well. If we sincerely want to bring about peace and brotherhood for the sake of all mankind and not for profit, wealth and power nor to force our beliefs on others then it must start with humble.
May we all, regardless of what religion fall before God and proclaim, Great and Powerful God, I acknowledge you before all men as my king and my God. I am a sinner and I have failed. I can do nothing without you Lord. Forgive me my trespasses, have mercy and compassion upon me and my household and all mankind. Forgive my enemies known and unknown to me and those who have harmed me and my loved ones in any way or manner directly or indirectly in thought, word, or deed, as I may have done to them and others through my own fault. Help me to overcome my faults and my sin so that I may serve you faithfully. May peace, prosperity, brotherhood, safety, health, long life and eternal salvation, through your goodness Lord be upon me and my household and all who humble themselves before you. We ask this father in your Holy name, for "Who is Like Unto God", Amen!
Lord allow us all to understand that it is through choice we pray and act and make change and not through idleness but action. It is only through love of our fellow human beings that peace will come to this earth.
May we all understand for all the wealth and power and riches we are nothing before you Lord. Amen.
So to all my fellow human beings everywhere who know and pray to God, the God of great Mercy and Love and Compassion, who remembers the weak, the oppressed, the exploited we can walk in brotherhood if we can first walk in humbleness.
