Catholic Popes and the End Time.

Now I write this with the understanding that not everyone has a belief nor an interest in Catholic Prophesy. That said it does not diminish the great Saints and believers who gave these prophecies. It is also something that all believers should consider nor take lightly when we take our journey in faith. So with that said I suspect there are many out there who do? Yet, in this world of ours many still have not heard of the Prophesy of Malachy a priest of history in Ireland.
Also John Paul II was connected to the reestablishment of the vision of Saint Sister Faustina of Poland who wrote in her diary of a revelation from Jesus Himself saying, "I bear a special love for Poland and if she will be obedient to My Will, I will exalt her in might and holiness. From her will come forth the spark that will prepare the world for My final coming" (Diary "Divine Mercy in My Soul")? Both came out of Poland.
Now you don’t have to believe in Fatima, Divine Mercy, or any prophets of the Bible then or since. Yet it doesn’t diminish God revealed Himself to average people. Just be open to the fact that God is no respecter of persons great or small to bring forth His knowledge. Test the spirits and if they profess Jesus as Lord they are of God!
Now our new Pope is called by the name he chose. That name Benedict XVI after the order of St. Benedict. Now he has attached to his name De Gloria Olivae, meaning the Olive Branch, which has always signified peace. There is much attached to the significance of this as well if you discover this prophesy.
Pope John was the 110th Pope in the order of the Prophesy and Pope Benedict was the 111 th Pope. We can all state accurately he is an elderly man and not expected to live many more years as mans timeline goes. So just where does that leave us in the prophesy timeline if this is accurate?
Well in Pope Benedicts "Religio depopulata", he stated that “ In his footsteps I place my ministry, in the service of reconciliation and harmony between peoples, profoundly convinced that the great good of peace is above all a gift of God, a fragile and precious gift to be invoked, safeguarded and constructed, day after day and with everyone's contribution. [Sorrow and penance]
So what can we expect out of this? Will this Pope lead us to peace? He is already making his overtures about war in the recent press. We already see the alignments in motion.
Well there is a twist to this. Somewhere along the line someone added a one hundred and twelfth Pope? That said, he is supposedly to be named Peter the Roman or in Latin Petros Romanos. Of course we all realize Peter was the alleged first Pope and Peter to be the last in ascension order. I say alleged only because of the division in all Christian Churches and the fact that this last name was added in the early 1800's and some do not even accept the Catholics aas a Christian faith.
Now where does that bring us in this prophesy? Well frankly, there are many other side aspects that one needs to investigate. The prophecy alleged the Bishop of Milan was to be the 111 th Pope, yet you must investigate further because this becomes even more intriguing. Just what was required for the fulfillment and has it been somewhere else?
Yet Malachy's final words: Peter the Roman, will be the Pope during the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church. The seven-hilled city (Rome, the seat of the Vatican) will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people. Once again some investigation needed.
So let us continue with the prophecy that this current Pope will only last a short time. If true, then the last will reign under a time of great persecution of the church.
In 1909, not so long ago, while granting an audience, Pope Pius X was siad to have suddenly cried out: “What I see is terrifying. Will it be myself? Will it be my successor? What is certain is that the Pope will quit Rome, and in leaving the Vatican, he will have to walk over the dead bodies of his priests." To date that prophecy was never fulfilled. According to Malachy's vision of the Church's "tribulation," it applies to the successor of Gloria Olivae-the next Pope, but certainly one. Is it possible in this day and age with the state Europe is in?
We add to this with prophesy of Saint John Bosco “The new Pope, putting the enemy to rout and overcoming every obstacle, guides the ship right up to the two columns and comes to rest between them; he makes it fast with a light chain that hangs from the bow to an anchor of the column on which stands the Host; and with another light chain which hangs from the stern, he fastens it at the opposite end to another anchor hanging from the column on which stands the Immaculate Virgin." The Host being God in the form of Holy Communion and Mary the Virgin Mother of God whom Catholics believe will crush the head of the Devil. Thus the two pillars.
Now the implication here is war and that the Holy City will be overrun.. If true then all eyes need to be on the current Pope and the events in Iraq and Iran and yes, Russia. I have just finished an article on Fatima and on Iran and Russia is still stirring its evil ways and China certainly is the only one with an army that is 200 million strong.
Yet, in the end and after war and many persecutions the church triumphs. How long will that be? If we turn to scripture could it be 3 and ½ years or longer? Now many believe Christians will be "Raptured" duing the Tribulation period, or taken out? This is also a questionable view that has never been settled by anyone on any Christian Church.
So while not everyone believes in this prophesy, there is a real church in Rome that has 112 spots on its wall, all filled but one. Does it mean that there will be one more? Does it mean there will be 100 more? Who really knows but God?
However, the church throughout the ages has produced Holy people who gave believers prophesy. As I stated in the beginning. while we are fast to quote the old prophets we are quick to dismiss the current. Is it that we think God does not warn His people in modern times so that all may be saved? I for one think not becuase we must be "alert and aware" as the Word states.
I close with this. We all have choices on our road to seeking God. If we place conflict, division, doubt, hate or ridicule and our own beliefs aside in place of truly seeking God openly and in faith we just may be able to understand His warnings are for all believers and non.
Does it mean these may pass. Certainly Jesus stated all can change through the good works of men. In fact in Divine Mercy this prayer repeated often will hold back the hand of God from what we deserve. That is “Oh Blood and Water which gushed from the heart of Jesus, as a font of mercy for us, have mercy on us who have recourse to thee." All it requires is belief and faith.
So if man repents in truth things can change, or be postponed, made lighter or even eliminated. Some of course will laugh and ridicule but I am one who doesn’t. I remind you thses same ones are the fulfillment of prophesy in of themselves.
So to all I pray and say, go in peace with Gods blessings. May the God whom we profess save us all and lead us all to everlasting life Amen!

I am not laughing, Robert and I believe in the prophesies. (As you may know) I am Roman Catholic and I have never doubted that the Lord warns people and I do believe what many of the visionaries have proclaimed. I am not learned as you are obviously, but it saddens me that with everything given man still refuses to listen. I am not young (50) but am too young to have seen the many changes I have in my lifetime all leading towards immorality and lies. Thank you again for an extremely enlightening article and God bless you, Mr. Robert! Please log in to respond to this comment.Thank you for your kindness. You are at the very height of your life in all aspects and cetainly mature enough to have experienced what this world has to offer. Only God the father understands the truth yet it seems man is quick to discard what they don't understand nor want to. Best wishes and God bless. Please log in to respond to this comment.
Yes this prophesy of the Catholic Church has always been available yet, that specific denomination teaches that if you love, honor and obey God you are by those works, your fruits in effect saved. Of course Fatima, Divine Mercy and a host of End Times Prophesy, even concerning the Popes and this specific Pope we have now readily available which many, especially Protestants are unawares of for centuries of division. There can never be division in those who truly believe in God, just a way in reaching Him. For those who believe these are just additional inform, action sources. For skeptics or those not as knowledgeable a necessary path to follow. Thanks for your writing, best wishes and I hope I provided some more information for you to follow. Please log in to respond to this comment.
