Climate, Storms, Waves, Earthquakes and Others Earth Impacts In Prophecy.

One of the major factors in this new century is global warming and the real potential for rising sea levels caused by that warming. We all realize greenhouse gas is a leading suspected culprit to all of this. So once again we see modern technology having a dramatic impact on us. A technology that was not even available in the amounts we understand today even 50 years ago.

Scientists have stated in many journals that these Greenhouse gases create unusual atmospheric circulation pattern, which create unusually higher heat temperatures. This is already being experienced in certain parts of the world including here in America. There are enough warnings by the scientific community that this increased weather and heat will have a major impact on people and really all creation.

So that which was not even considered in the last century is now being talked about daily. In fact some researchers are saying that the earth will be the hottest it has been in 2000 years. What an odd number for believers to ponder?

Now intense storms like Katrina create any number of havoc, storm surge, flooding, pollution, destruction, death, injury and impact to the economy. The bible eludes that in the last days the seas shall roar and the waves shall be enormous [Tsunamis]. Have we heard of recent incidents of “waves" or storms? In reality the climatic conditions that favor the enlargement of these storms and conditions are prevalent today.

Now what about earthquakes, volcanoes and other earth disasters? Technology today is making earthquake predictions more accurate and it can also determine possible impacts but it is not an exact science. Certainly earthquakes and volcanoes can trigger Tsunamis waves but as we stated there is really no known precise and accurate method to determine when they will occur and plate movement or other internal earth events can trigger them.

It goes without saying however, that once again these are occurring more frequently and with more intensity. Remember in my prior articles that this was a key to following the signs and symbols of this age?

Now along with this come certain changes in the earth brought about by these changes in climate and the earth itself. If we go back to the Pagan religions they speak of December 21, 2012. This is when there will be a rare alignment of planets. The prophecy says that this might throw the earth off its axis or cause a shift and with this who knows. Of course they predict this is the end of the known world.

Now scientists say this dramatic event happens every twenty five thousand years or so. So the question is if true if this has most likely happened before? I reckon it is like turning a glass upside down to see what comes out.

However, we believers must remember the Bible prayer “World Without End". The Bible also predicts great signs in the Heavens and all men shall run to and fro in fear of what is happening. Now if we look at Nostradamus predictions life continues for many thousands of years. In fact does not Jesus predict He will return to rule for 1000 years before the end comes? I would rather place my trust in Jesus but I am not unwise enough to realize God Himself may have foretold these events to these ancient people concerning great signs in the heavens.

So just what is the jest of all of this for us to ponder? Is it just coincidence, a natural earthly or universal cycle or does man bring it about? Well frankly I think in my opinion a little bit of each. Now God, who believers know as being in control, is mixing the cake, so to speak. He adds a little of this or that. Of course the stove [man] can burn hot or cold and hence the cooking might take longer or go quicker. You know like the package estimate. However, there is no denying the signs are all about.
