Peninsula For Sale, Cheap!

This is a satirical look at the situation in just one state. However, it may be applicable to all? I just thought, like An American Paradigm - 2010 and The Late Great Nation of Ozonia, they just might prove as prophetic? So here is how the add might go?
Lovely Peninsula for sale with a yearly mean temperature of 73 degrees, sunshine, water all about and is ideally suited for the rich, wealthy and affluent. The housing costs are very reasonable when you consider all the foreclosures and thousands of mid to low income houses for sale that can‘t be sold due to taxes and insurance requirements. Put that together with low wages and large populations of low-income families unable to buy a home and you have the perfect environment.
Now you could most likely steal a lesser quality home because the sale facts are that there are over 5000 homes for sale in my county alone over 40,000 and in adjacent counties. Now wealthy people do not have the majority of homes for sale unless of course they are most likely looking for bigger and better. No it is the families and elderly who just can’t make it here anymore in paradise unless they get themselves a good box.
Oh sure the insurers and business will be glad to tell you all their woe but in my opinion keep in mind they are not hurting so bad and those Golden Parachutes and exorbitant profits have not been too bad. Off shore trade deals, downsizing and contracting labor are all big plusses on this Peninsula. Oh sure, they’ll tell you about high risk but in my opinion “that was a long time ago in another place far away“, as the story goes. They have passed all the risk to the average folk.
The other real big plus for the wealthy and especially business is that the laws on this Peninsula definitely favor business and investors and it is a right to work environment that no employer can pass by. Yes, that’s right, low wages, limited to no benefits for workers and you can let someone go without cause or reason any old time you like and Unions a definite curse word and ineffective on this Peninsula.
Some retailers and others are even looking and actually getting away with eliminating their ‘higher" paid workers with lower paid. Banks seek out the lower income prospects because they generate a lot of fees. You know like check cashing, overdraft, late payments to couple that ’high risk" rate of 29% plus they offer. After all it is just to help this forgotten class. Certainly floating money, while a crime for the average person is the cats meow for many in the financial business. You know when they debit you but return your funds two or three days later. Also, many places, while checks are a negotiable instrument won’t take them unless you do business with them. In fact they won’t even take a bank check without placing a hold on the funds. Now in my opinion that’s what I call a wealthy persons heaven.
The again your smack dab in the middle of the Bible belt and good old fashion Conservatism and Capitalism which are at work here and in full bloom as is covetousness. You see that isn’t evidently a sin any longer if you’re a Capitalist because we all commit this sin here in America wanting more and more. Certainly this is the place to forget about that Commandment?
Yes and how nice it is to see those churches blossoming. In my opinion they have to with all those who have nothing having to pray hard to keep ahead of the bill collectors. Then again we got some pretty wealthy pastors here as well. They seem to own Rolex watches, custom clothes build personal homes worth millions and rive exclusive cars. After all who wants to go to church in some simple building?
Now as for weather, don’t worry about Hurricanes and insurance woes because if you live near the coast you will most likely be eligible for Hurricane upgrading grants first, because lower income people can’t afford to live on the coast. That’s the good part of being wealthy. You got the best of everything.
Yes, it is a paradise that is fast becoming if not already the playground of only those who can afford and how exciting is that? You see those marginal middle-income families, the low-income retired and of course the poor are all in the process of leaving or at least trying to. Its not that some of them want to, its just that they have to.
However, if your in business you won’t need to worry about cheap labor because there is plenty from south of the border arriving everyday illegally as well as those who can‘t leave and have to take anything they can get. You even have an expected tax rate drop possibility because all those lower income families who can no longer afford to live and work here will be moving out and that means fewer educational needs and lower school taxes. Also, who needs all those kids running about getting into trouble and making noise? That’s why we have no children allowed areas. After all I raised mine and I’ll see my grandchildren when I care to. You should also realize that new Global Community will be moving in and taking their place and you know for sure they have the bucks.
So if you act fast a piece of this Peninsula can be yours for way lower then what it was just a few short years ago. Just imagine a utopia where only those with money make up the majority and of course only those needed for the good life.
Yes, no crowded roads or rush hours, limited retired crowding the roads for breakfast, that doctors appointment or the trip to Wal Mart and church on Sunday. Yes, no crowded beaches and nothing but the pretty people. It is just too good to be true.
Oh, and don’t worry about it changing back anytime soon. The leaders had placed all their trust in the free market system and their fellow wealthy legislators to keep things on track and you know what that means?
Oh by the way, the Governor is a good man but you know something that doesn’t matter either because business is business you know. That ought to provide plenty of peace of mind.
Also, don’t worry about those who left, they will be settling somewhere else north of you and they will most likely not be returning, even for vacation. There are enough from other nations being imported by the government and paid for by taxpayers.
Yes, there is no income tax and you can find the right people to get you to hide most if not all of what you have so your tax liability will be real low to none. Now isn’t that alone a great reason for buying?
So why wait? Go ahead and check it out. It’s as good a deal as any dealmaker can get and you won’t find any better.
