The North American Union, Good or Bad?

Now from a religious point of view all persons are before God created equal. We also recognize this is not true by nature of power, position, wealth, health, intelligence, sickness or capability. Certainly, if we believe in God we are all equal in His eyes, no matter what our state of being.
So with that in mind we should all share in the benefits of His creation equally. However, looking at reality we can also attest this has never been the case. So to implement a new economic order whereby we all "benefit" from a union of nations in a world of inequity, exploitation, war and death bodes well for the average person of any nation. However, the truth be said some will gain and some will lose and in a moral sense in my opinion if all of our leaders were as many of them profess to be it would be a good decision. However, the reason this nation was formed was exactly why in my opinion it won’t work. People came here to start a new life of equality and freedom and to avoid the exploitation in all aspects they suffered in their original country.
Americans see the in fighting going on between members of the “European Union" and that there is no harmony under the surface. Frankly in my opinion you are dealing with the worst in man and greed and exploitation are the driving forces hidden behind the rhetoric of democracy and social justice.
As for Canadians, I do not believe, short of our jobs and money they care much for the good old U.S.A. since many fled from here during our revolution and from other wars. Yes, they like our dollars but not our leadership and that is their right. However, they may like the economic benefits they will most certainly receive?
So to also say Americans are against this new union would be wrong. What is wrong in my opinion is that no one knows how it would be implemented in a just, fair and equitable manner for “We The People"? In my opinion it would be to a boon to all “average people" in these other countries. Living wages, benefits, good jobs and opportunity are no longer within the American dream and are quickly disappearing here at home. Yes, they are going there! Low wages, no pensions, no health care, and no benefits are more symbolic of the new corporate and government perspectives then economic growth opportunities. It just does not add up to what they preach as demonstrated in this nation. The benefits they speak to in my opinion are not here. Rhetorically one wonders if over time those who come would have been better off staying right at home?
The fact is many love this nation for what it stands for. However, perhaps by a power more in charge then what we want to recognize the mechanism is in place and rolling fast to put into place the new world government. This is a government with no borders and one central control. When that happens and I believe that is fast approaching no matter what any nation or people want, the mechanism will be in place for what must take place next. The manner of implementation and the rush seems to place most average people in a defensive position just trying to survive. If this union is so good for us then one asks why is it being done in a clandestine manner?
Therefore what I and all of us seek is justice and equality, protection and fairness, peace and prosperity for all. Not rhetoric, lies, not false hope or promises but the true American dream. Perhaps then man can live side by side in peace and not have to worry about their loved ones. Perhaps this is just fantasy and wishful thinking. Whatever the case it looks like what will be, will be, regardless if we vote or note!
However, it may never happen but until they start to consider Americans first and not people from other nations first and until I can trust those in power to look after my family and my posterity I will vote to get them out of office. I truly believe I am not the only one who feels this way.

Since then, capitalism has devoured our sense of fairness and equity. The greatest casualty: any notion that all men are created equal. As a consequence, there is no "We The People". There are only economic constituents (foreign & domestic) that are all feeding on the eco-system called America. I'm not sure that I can blame them for doing what seems to be necessary in their own eyes. Please log in to respond to this comment.Thank you for your comments and opinion. The diversified perspective and ability to comment is what makes this nation what it is. You evidently have come to the opinion that there is no government in the sense of democracy where the people have a say. You may be perfectly correct in my opinion that those who think in the "it works for me" mode will never see equality in man. Please log in to respond to this comment.
